Hang on, So you actually wiped your entire OS and reinstalled Windows, just because your browser was having a problem connecting or didn't work, rather than just reinstalling your browser, or trying a different browser to see if your problem was actually caused by your browser?

Then, on top of that, you reinstalled Vortex, expecting it to "Pick up where it left off" even though, when you "wiped your OS" because your browser didn't work, you also deleted every single Preference Setting for every single program you have installed on your computer, because when you wipe your OS, the folder that holds most, if not all of your user data is in C:\users\<YOUR NAME>\appdata

Ok, so lets' start over then.

Can you explain what your problem actually is, in understandable terms, and BE SPECIFIC?

Because I, (and I'm sure other people who try to help in this forum), have no idea what you're trying to say, as you are not explaining your problem clearly enough for anybody to understand.

Currently, with your posts, there's no determining if your problem is your browser, OS, Vortex, NMM, the Nexus, Formatting your PC, etc.

alright i accidentally said nexus not vortex i am on windows 10 and an when i launch vortex i get an error message reading some of the installed extensions couldn't be loaded because they have missing dependencies

and when i click fix it the reads FAILED TO INSTALL EXTENSION

gamebryo-plugin-management

then once i click more it read the extension "gamebryo-plugin-management" wasn't found in the repository. this might mean that the extension isn't available on Nexus at all or has been excluded for compatibility reasons please check the installation instructions for this extension

If I can understand what you're trying to say, it sounds like your install of Vortex is corrupted

Are you using Windows Defender?

If so, turn OFF "Controlled Folder Access"

If you're using MalwareBytes, turn off "Ransomware Protection"

THEN, reinstall Vortex.

Also, PLEASE try and provide IN-DEPTH DETAIL as to what you are doing.

It's very difficult to try and 'guess' what you're trying to convey here.
