Can we just "undo" the recent big update?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not completely against Nexus's decision to make a more user unfriendly download button. I'm sure they have some reason for it. But honestly ever since this update, the entire site has felt "wonky" ever since. Download speeds are slower now. Page loading takes way longer. Occasionally the download button won't even work at all. Everything just feels like it got slower or worse since this update. Anyone else feel like this as well?

Sorry Nexus, but it feels like you guys pulled a Bethesda this time around

As a survivor of the fallout76 bethesda website travesty, (I have the shirt! LOL JK) I can honestly say that this is nowhere near as bad.

yeah, I think the changes that they made are definitely having some unforeseen bug problems, and that there's some issues going on with the servers. They're working on getting them straightened out tho.

I dunno-- it seems like on my end that indeed stuffs going slow as heck. whats more, its getting obnoxious clicking through pages for downloads. every time it opens the download in a new page with the eponymous 'do you want the *slow download* or do you want the FAST DOWNLOAD!? become a member today!' shtick. I get its about supporting the site and all, but holy hell guys, I already PAID to be a supporter on the site. just because the banner ads are down doesn't mean you need to drown me in begging funding.

Before anyone says; I did check my preferences-- its set to a small popup window as its always been. this new update makes so I *have* to click through the second page in order to get my download to begin in vortex.

I'm honestly starting to notice myself actively avoiding trying out new content cause I don't wanna put up with the s#*!.
