bill8872
As the title says, as this just started happening to me, and it IS mod related.Mods I have been using for a very long time now just hang up at loading.I have gone through about 300 so far. Mostly .esl's, and half my .esp's (stopping for the night. 6 hours is enough.) Every mod affected worked just 3 weeks ago. Now about 10% will not work. All I did was add one new mod(witch dose work), started a new game, and now this. One of the affected mods was just updated last week. I had to rebuild the FO4custom.ini. I know about the game version change in the last update, but don't think that is the issue. I have uninstalled/reinstalled a few, but still the same. I can live without some, but there several must have mods that cause the game to stop loading.

HeyYou
Are you using a mod manager to uninstall them? If it all started after you installed 'one mod', I would be looking REAL hard at that one mod. Make sure no trace of it is left in your data folder. bill8872
I use NMM, and the mod I installed is Player Comments and Head Tracking, which works, but will try without ot. Editedthat blows, the mod I really wanted to try totally breaks my mods. Edited February 3, 2020 by bill8872
StormWolf01
LOL the very first rule of troubleshooting problems is to ask "What has changed since it worked?"That'll usually tell ya what's going wrong.
