UDReese
I recently got a new laptop for gaming in the bedroom, and rather than download all my mods again that I use on my main computer I copied the mods folder to a USB and transferred them that way - into the games "Mods" folder and not into the Vortex install folder. I was hoping to bypass having to edit all those config files again. When starting Vortex, though, it says I don't have any mods installed - even the two automatically installed when installing SMAPI, which is required to use for modding Stardew valley. Is there anyway to get Vortex to recognize that these are installed so I can update notices on them? They show up when I run the game and see the SMAPI messages scrolling by. I couldn't find any help using a web search and if it's anywhere in the built in help files, I couldn't find it.Thanks. HadToRegister
Because you also need to copy the appdata\vortex folder where the configs for vortex on your other install is, however, the paths need to be the same in order for that to work.
