Hsmyung93
Hi, I have been trying to install some mods to restart Skyrim SE and tried to install several mods I liked before which requires SKSE64. Game does run but SKYUI, racemenu and others don't function properly and `getskseversion does not work as well. I've uninstalled and reinstalled SSE and SKSE64 multiple times by now and now I am repeating uninstalling and reinstalling just SSE and SKSE64 without any mods about 4-5times at the moment. Spent past 3~4days trying to figure out and there wasn't any other cases like mine. Could anyone think of solution or have experienced the same issue before? Its SKSE64 2.0.17 for SSE 1.5.97. Any help would be appreciated!
HeyYou
Do you have the right version of SKSE for your game version? Are you starting the game with SKSE_loader? Running as admin? Getting any errors?
Hsmyung93
Do you have the right version of SKSE for your game version? Are you starting the game with SKSE_loader? Running as admin? Getting any errors?Yes I ve done all of them couple of times whenever I did clean re-install, No error, game will run just without SKSE64. Correct version, my SSE is 1.5.97, newest version from steam and SKSE64 is correct version for 1.5.97 as well. I've read SKSE64_readme multiple time as well I am sure its the right version. :'( SKSE64 will support the latest version of Skyrim SE available on Steam, and _only_ this version (currently 1.5.97 with any combination of numbers after that). When a new version is released, we will update as soon as possible; please be patient. The editor does not currently need modification, however a custom set of .pex/psc files must be installed. c0ax599
Don't wanna seem like a as$, but it's got to be a versioning problem. Too many people are using it all with NO problem. I would get rid of any an all SKSE and reinstall it manually, meticulously following the instructions. And then i would reinstall all mods that use it. You might've not updated one or two mods that need to be updated each time skse is. Do you use SSE Engine Hotfixes for instance? Racemenu and all related files must be updated.. Among others.. Or are you just starting the game through Steam, which won't start SKSE64
