Guest deleted34304850
i'd remove avast as a priority - they've got form for slurping all your data on what you're doing, what you're accessing what you're running, and selling it. bad company, bad attitude, complete lack of care for their user base.but that's just me. pleasespawnme
That depends, which anti-virus software do you use? Many of them are, to put it bluntly, garbage.and the Avast and the one that comes with Windows 10 Turn off "Controlled Folder Access' in Windows Defender.I don't have Windows Defender Windows Defender is "The one that comes with Windows" I checked and I don't have it. HadToRegister
then you have windows defenderBut I'm using avast I use Kaspersky, but I still have Windows Defender, but I have it turned off, it comes with Windows 10. Have you tried turning off "Controlled Folder Access" in Windows Defender or turning off Avast and trying to reinstall/install Vortex, or are you just still arguing whether you have Windows Defender? M48A5
Windows Defender is the Microsoft anti-virus program that comes with every legitimate copy of the Windows operating system. It can be found in the "Control Panel" listed as "Windows Defender". That is if you have a legitimate copy of Windows 10.
