wayneout
Sometimes when I install an mod with vortex, I get a message that some files have been moved. Every time CBBE is on the list. I am playing Fallout 4 and I choose "revert" because the other option says it will delete the mods. What is causing the mods to be moved. I do not know if it is vortex or something about Fallout 4 on Steam. Any ideas?
HadToRegister
DO NOT REVERT, when you REVERT you are Un-Doing everything that has been changed
wayneout
If I do not revert than it says it will delete all my files. Should I just delete them then re-install the mods again?
HadToRegister
Do you have your mod staging folder on the same drive as the game?Try picking the other option, because with REVERT you're just going to keep going in a circle. You install a mod, you pick revert, the mod is uninstalled, you install the mod and revert etc etcWhat exactly is the message? Rather, you are deleting unnecessary (and unwanted) files associated with the mod When you make changes to a mod, many times there are files that are no longer needed as a result of the change. Those are the files being deleted. As HTR has pointed out, choosing revert simply negates any changes you have made and puts you back where you started.
