Fallout: New Vegas Mods not installing mods

Update from my previous post. Right now, I click deploy mods and it spins on the first mod forever until it stops with no progress. I don't know if this has something to do with mod directories and Vortex, and I've already done a purge and reinstall of NV. i made sure to install NVSE and 4GB patcher first. I also used BethINI to tweak INI files just in case that was the issue.

First, Are you using Vortex?

You also need to know that Mods for older Bethesda games, (Morrowind, Oblivion, FO3, FONV) didn't have a "Standard" for zipping up the mods at the time, because Mod Managers were fairly new, so most people were just zipping them up on the pretense of people installing them Manually.

So, what's most likely happening, is the files are being installed to the wrong places due to the structure of the zip, rar, 7z files.

Thanks for responding. I am using Vortex, and I'm wondering if I should just install all the new mods manually. I looked at your article and it seemed pretty confusing. Unless there's some easy way to do it since I am far from an expert on modding.
