amizener64
Hello! I lost the email/password to my old account I used in Nexus. Upon opening Vortex, it asked me to purge old mods when I logged in with my new account. I did so, and now none of the mods I have show up in Vortex. They're still there in the mods folder, but I can't install them and Vortex can't seem to see them. How do I fix this?

amizener64
Try pressing DEPLOYNo dice, unfortunately. Vortex thinks none of my mods are installed, even though I can see the files in the correct directory.

Well, before you go doing irreversible damage,. have you contacted the nexus support team and asked them to look up your old email, or account? Tannin42
Your mod list is not tied to your account, the two things (your email being lost and the mod list being empty) are unrelated. When you say "They're still there in the mods folder" do you mean the _game_ folder or the vortex _staging_ folder? Are you seeing actual mods (extracted) or archives (7z, zip)?If you mean the staging folder, please check if the staging folder configured in settings->mods is actually the folder you were looking at. Have you by any chance reinstalled Windows recently or "cleaned up" the appdata folder? Because this does sound a bit like Vortex's application state was deleted
