Okay, from Britain - Major Parts of Europe, Africa, India, Asia, Canada, USA, South America.

It's not just you. The world is right now having an INTERNET SLOW DOWN. The reason is actually pretty simple. Basically, everyone is home, either Working via-Internet, talking more so on Community Networks - IE: Facebook, Twitter and so on and watching Youtube and Internet access videos - movies.

So understand that this is temporary, but will be a good month or so longer depending on when people are allowed to get out and about and go back to work and such.

Most of the USA Schools are closed now for the rest of the this school year. Meaning A LOT of kids are home and on the internet, more than usual.

Just simply Google this and you will see and read.

Here is one link for you all:

It Isn't Just You: The Internet is Actually Super-Slow Lately

... According to a new report by Broadband Now, a consumer advocate website that compares U.S. internet service providers (ISPs), many cities are experiencing internet slowdowns during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

Out of the country’s 200 most populous cities, 88 “have experienced some degree of network degradation over the past week compared to the 10 weeks prior,” according to the report. Three cities “experienced significant degradations, falling out of their ten-week range by more than 40 percent.” Most cities, however, didn’t find their speeds deviate by more than 20 percent. ....

* I also read where it's NOT just the USA .. it's " world wide ". I have some friends in Brazil that told me they are going through this SLOW DOWN, as I have friends in Various part of Europe and such as well.
So open a jar or two of Patience and Understanding ... because there is not much anyone can do about this. It simply " IS what it is " for " now ".
Stay Healthy .....

ADDED - something one of my I.T. friends pointed out, that he found some did " .. not put together .. ".

2 + 2 sort of thing.

* You side of the internet ( provider ) is likely on the slower side due to what was pointed out in the OP.

* The Receiving side of the internet, their provider - host and such are also likely running slower as well.

I haven't had any slow-time thus far anywhere. Except occasionally on Nexus since a few weeks now. Haven't experienced slow downloads except for one that went really slow, like, 12 to 15kb per second, but that was a particularity with that mod as other and way larger mods I downloaded at the same time went down at 12000kbs as usual. When they were done, the small download wasn't finished yet and trudged along at 12kbps.

We did upgrade our infrastructure recently so it should be better during peak hours now. Let us know if you are still experiencing slowdowns.
