DeadMansFist849
Yes, I really am asking about tracksuit trousers. For myself? I absolutely detest them. They're terrible, formless things that constrict my ankles.

myrmaad
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/SeaBlossom/th_31jNCTwbwpL_SX385_.jpg They have a scarey Jerry Sandusky vibe, to me. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/SeaBlossom/th_Panic_Emoticon-vlp78j-d.jpg Not even infants look good in them! http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/SeaBlossom/images.jpg Well, maybe babies!! Vagrant0
They give me this White-trash/Eurotrash type vibe. Maybe they'd be fine if you were just coming from the gym on a cold day, or doing some morning jogging. But as normal clothes they just look silly. Women's workout pants also invoke similar feelings of them looking silly... Namely those ones that for whatever reason have words across the butt. Great idea in concept... Just that even a normally attractive woman usually ends up looking saggy in them, nevermind the unattractive ones.
Ghogiel
Reebok trackie is cockney slang for what?
ginnyfizz
I loathe them passionately, and did so even back in the day when I was fit enough to indulge in athletics and rowing. Whenever I was racing the trackie bottoms were discarded ASAP, as the shorts in those days were not quite as bum freezing as they are now. I am not sure where your Eurotrash thing comes from Vagrant0, as I have seen them on gargantuan butts from the Americas through Europe to the Antipodes and all points in between. They are internationally revolting.
Lisnpuppy
My Dad wears them regularly...he is 70 and has done some amazing stuff in his life...so he can wear them as he pleases. However the swish-swish sound drives me nuts. Also seeing what some folks wear in WalMart around here....OMG if only they would wear something this fashionable....and covering. Thank gods the earth will end tomorrow and all the polyester will go with it.:tongue::tongue::tongue:
Vagrant0
I am not sure where your Eurotrash thing comes from Vagrant0I think it comes from GTAIV actually, or atleast the more recent components, but feels more like some sort of bad French/Italian thing. I never meant to suggest that it was a politically correct feeling, or one which I would ever act or judge others on, but rather just the sort of flavor that my feelings of general disgust seem to have. Regardless. I can't help but believe that some people simply lack the capability to actually consider what they are wearing. Laundry day, donated clothing, someone losing a bet, or even not giving a s*** about your own appearance... Doesn't explain some of the choices people have went with when deciding what to wear for that whole day. Not to say I'm particularly GQ myself, or particularly care what others think, but atleast I bother to conceal most of what I wouldn't want to see on someone else. ginnyfizz
The combination of trackie bottoms and also butt cleavage...
Syco21
Tight fitted jeans. I Can't Stand Them On Women, But When I Man Wears Them, It'sJust So Much Worse. They Are Ugly And Tacky. They're Almost As Bad As Those "Jeans" That Are Made With Some Sort Of Stretchy Material. What's Worse Is When Someone Wears Them With Boots...
