Lulu12345678 Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 Hello, I also had this problem because I had to check "execute in administrator" in the .exe of steam whereas it is necessary to leave it in normal and to uncheck the execution in administrator

NuclearPancakes Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 (edited) In Vortex, highlight your mods and select deploy at the top. Then you can run Bannerlord through steam normally, go to mods, then re-select all your mods. May have to go to Vortex > Settings > Mods then suggest new staging and select hardlink deployment as well. Edited August 28, 2020 by NuclearPancakes
HadToRegister Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 This thread would've gotten a LOT more answers if it had been posted in the Vortex Support forum.
boratlike1 Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Hey guys, not sure if you are still having this issue but I have just solved it on my PC and thought I'd share. The only way I could get Bannerlord to run through vortex was to run Vortex as administrator, which is not recommended. I found in an old forum, someone posted that you should also make sure that steam isn't being run as admin, which I just checked on my PC and saw that I've been running it as admin by default. After disabling steam running as admin by default, I can launch Bannerlord from Vortex now without having to run as admin. Hope this helps people in similar situation.
