wasder
Well, Zero Punctuation said it was OK, and he likes nothing. Seriously. Only like CoD4. He's pretty hilarious too. But thats quite a good recommendation.

WrathOfDeadguy
If you intend to play co-op a lot- and I mean a lot- then buy it. L4D is amazing to play with friends, in part because the only real objective is survival and the game lets you do pretty much whatever you want aside from that. Vs. mode is good too, but co-op is the heart and soul of the game. If you want a deep, involved SP experience, look elsewhere because the 'singleplayer' is really just co-op with semi-intelligent bots instead of human teammates (great for practice, not so great for lasting entertainment). I'd get it on PC if you could, though- the PC version is virtually guaranteed to get oodles of new content through modding and fan-mapping that the 360 will never see any of. Plus, when Valve releases the inevitable DLC, PC-users probably won't have to pay for it (none of the other DLC they've released for their games over Steam has ever been charged for). Also be aware that, if you buy the 360 version, you can only do two-player splitscreen unless you system link with another console or play over XBL. keylek3
yes this is a very good game but i say it is not worth buying because you can only have fun on internet play really and it can be quite expencive around now
wasder
Wha? Online on Xbox is expensive. Not ps3 or pc.
erbkaiser
"Good or Bad game? Yes No" whut? Yes, it is a good game -- no it is a bad game? Anyway, I consider it a complete waste of money. The singleplayer is repetitive and boring, so its only value is in the multiplayer. Considering what the result is of normal person + anonymity + audience (look at Penny Arcade if you don't know the answer), I have absolutely no desire to play online. Glad I did not buy LFD, what I saw at a friend's house said enough.
Dark0ne
As said before; if you have friends you play games with, or you're at university, L4D is an awesome fun game. If you're an internet loner or your friends prefer playing Hello Kitty! Online then it's not for you.
elpiggo
I got the demo for the PC version, and compared it to that of the Xbox version. My Pc takes longer to load than most peoples' so they will have already started a level by the time I'm playing. Judging from how far they are into into level when I start playing, I would say that a level takes around 2-3 minutes to load. The Xbox can load a level in 20 seconds max. Even if you do have a computer capable of doing this, you'll have to wait around for the slower people to load unless you want them to start with weapons the NPCs picked. The consoles, in their totalitarian manner, all load at the same time. I'll probably regret it when the extras come along, but I got the Xbox version. ...or your friends prefer playing Hello Kitty! Online then it's not for you.How dare you?
