divotdog Posted May 9, 2020 Share Posted May 9, 2020 if your using avg it by default denies vortex access to folders. (mine did atleast). also i know it may sound stupid but did you make sure you vortex mods are downloading into the right folder. and the same drive as SSE. It doesn't matter where the Download folder is, it only matter that the Mod Staging Folder is on the same drive as the game Its all on the same drive. I cant imagine why this wouldnt work. Installed Skyrim SE, SKSE, Vortex, made esp files converted to mods, resolved conflicts (run before/after), mods are on the asame drive as the game (C:\), it says in Vortex that game has 45 mods active, I run it via SKSE from Vortex, but there is not single mod in the game.
