cant change game install folder

sorry to say, but i am finding it extremely hard to guess how to do things in vortex - such a terrible experience.

 

i need to change a games install folder... and cannot seem to find from where. i have selected all available buttons and nothing seems to work even though i am logged in

 

if someone can help me pls - i would much appreciate it

 

also... what is the default value for the download folder in settings pls?

To change the install folder of the game you need to reinstall it using your game store. (e.g. Steam)

 

To change your staging folder for mods you go to Settings -> Mods

For the download folder it's Settings -> Downloads.

 

I wouldn't say it's a "terrible experience" unless you can provide some specific feedback as what you feel is bad and how it can be improved.

thanks all for trying to help... but none of the above worked :( ...

 

my problem is about that i have a game that by mistake, i did put a wrong game location. i need to change that so as to be able to Activate the game and change the mod folder.

from the main screen, i choose the game, there is a '+' sign where i tried to change 'Manually Change Location', but it does not change anything.

 

re-improvement i would sincerely suggest the functionality to remove managed games.

also if it is possible, an 'easier' functionality to change the game folder.

by re-install... do you mean the game or vortex?
