UnknownSolider
I end up installing Morrowind every-so-often, doing a few quests, and then something usually comes up whereby I end up having to delete it.It's strange; I prefer it more than Oblivion and Skyrim, yet it's the game I've spent the least amount of time playing. Probably because I spend a lot of the time modding it. xD
billyro
I would really like to get back into Morrowind, because yeah, it is the best game ever. Sadly I can't, it feels too old. The graphics, the gameplay, the sounds... but either than those it's the best. I did try using Morrowind Overhaul 3.0, but it didn't work very well, so I uninstalled it. :(
eldav
billyro what went wrong with Morrowind Overhaul ?, i installed it today and everything went smooth, i particualy like how the installer checks if you have all that is needed to get it working properly. There are some things that i feel needs to be worked on and that is the inventory screen, its too small and bland, hard to see what you are carrying. Now all that remains for me to do is to come up with a good character build, i think i want to use things that arent in other ellder scrolls games, namly spears, throwing stars and medium armor, suggestion needed for a good character build using those features.Oh, just a small thing, i like to adjust the brightness just one click to the brighter side just so it´s makes gaming more pleasing. billyro
billyro what went wrong with Morrowind Overhaul ?, i installed it today and everything went smooth, i particualy like how the installer checks if you have all that is needed to get it working properly. It just loaded extremely slow, even on absolute minimum settings. It's weird though, because I have a gaming laptop and it can run Skyrim on high with 60fps + 200 mods...I tried so many things to try and improve it, but nothing worked. So yeah, didn't keep it because of that. Deleted54170User
The Wrye Bash tools and mod enhancer gave me some real challenges getting to know ways that really enchanted me. The problem was I was still a bit of a gamer illiterate when Wrye bash and other mod manager's came out.I could not figure it out and had a lot of bad luck pushing my computers CPU over the heat limit.Oblivion was kind of a stool softener and gave us all some relief from all the struggles.I had lots of desire to get acquainted with the neat new software toys called, "MOD's".I know there were a couple more that emerged at almost the same time. One was easing my mod hunger along so I could play with many mods installed, while I wanted to get into the Mod's that gave us "Things we really need" or was that we don't need? I mean required stuff we weren't getting playing the game and in real life I started not getting any. Like: sleep, food, work done. :- ) LOL They had made a mod so we could arrange furniture, and such. Ports of teleportation were available with some of the Wrye Bash mods which were part of that groups doing. I remember a crystal clear globe with sizzling FX floating in the air that was a teleportation device. I could not bring myself to sacrifice the mods I had installed so I could get the WryeBash mod changes to work. I just couldn't for some reason.I went out and bought another computer so I could try it without the same mods I already had.I fouled up MORROWINDs set up dozens of times working to figure out how to get my new computer to work with WryeBash setting's.Skyrim game had the ability to pick a point on an object and lift it by pressing and holding the 'e' key. When I finally got the Dibella Statue in that quest something in the STEAM version of Skyrim changed the ability. When I clicked on the Dibella Statue I ended up with the base every time so I could only drop it and hope it flipped over and landed on the base. This is what's bad people. They are dumbing the game modding community down. People gave us their heart's and their soul's attention for making mods for these abilities and now the game community is a bunch of hard nose businesses looking for a profit.I'd pay more for a video game, gladly, if they stop dumbing the games down and start giving the power back to the gaming tech community. You great big businesses want my money, you promise to turn loose the reigns of throttling Internet speeds and Data Capping to make more money selling less and charging more for it.I will send you all the money I earn.If not, your going to go down like a sinking ship when you pick one to many Nirnroot's that make is so you can't run because you are carrying too much.I'd love to see the advanced Software we all know, could be and likely, is possible.Which mod manager came first? Anyone remember? Was it WryeBash?I know of at least 4, but the one I wanted to work with most of all at first was the one I just could not break the make me feel stupid spell that someone was casting on me. lol :- )
Deleted54170User
A couple of finds are the ability to wear robes over armor. < http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=128201412&searchtext= > I remember a similar mod arriving as MORROWIND became the longest played game I had. While examining another mod in Pastaspace's Workshop STEAM Workshop I found a similar one for Skyrim and the fellow also found another reason why MORROWIND was a favorite. < http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=78468293 > While exploring Pastaspace's Workshop I found >> << I intend to explore it as well. :- D All that and one other I have been pondering. It may be best not to remind people of my one favorite transportation method. Too many odd things happen already in Jack Ass movies.

JimboUK
It's amazing what the community has managed to do with the game, stills really don't do it justice either.
