Vortex Skyrim SE ini extension

In Vortex there is a extension you can add that adds a button so you can quickly open your 'ini' files. I don't know what happened, but this extension is not installed anymore and I can not find it on the extensions tab.

I don't remember the name of the extension either. Anyone know the name and where I can install it?

Thank you :)

Just tried to install the extension again but it's failing to install. On the description page it states, "Requires Vortex 1.2.11 or lower. Newer versions have an "Open Game Settings Folder" option with does the same thing."

I guess this means the extension is dead *single tear rolls down my cheek as deep depressions sets in*

The game settings folder works, but the extension was a one-click solution to the ini's that I frequently visit.

Or, it just means that it hasn't been updated yet

I wish this was the case. But, Picksaurus (I think I spelled their name wrong) confirmed on their extension page that they aren't updating the extension anymore since the Game Settings Folder option does nearly the same thing. :(

He did share a way for me to make the install work by deleting a line in the json, I just need to learn how to do it lol. Going to do some Googling about editing json since I don't know where to start.

*.json are basically text files

You can edit them with Notepad, or notepad++

Found the proper json, opened it with notepad, deleted line 177, now it works again.

Thanks. +1 kudos for you :)
