Dark0ne
What's everyone up to at the moment? I'm in a relatively small 0.0 alliance that are pretty much pets to the NC called "Wildly Inappropriate". Sort of suits my style because we don't hold space, we just get rights to some high end moons and constellations without any of the hassle of committing to POS warfare. Docking rights to all stations in Branch, Tenal, Tribute, Deklein, Fade and Pure Blind and pretty much empty space to rat in when I like. We obviously helped in the recent fights up North against BoB and Goodfellas/Tri but it's quite handy not having to worry about POS Warfare and just being able to do roaming PVP, rat in empty systems and play the 0.0 markets in multiple safe regions. AReaver
Im in a 500-600 person alliance thats in providence CVA space where its NRDS(not red don't shoot) so its fairly peaceful but its also meh i prefer to spend my time in high sec missioning but that might change if we actually get some action in 0.
TheTerminator2004
I'm still experiencing the joys of factional warfare... however, its not much fun on your own, and the only other two people in the corp have decided to quit Eve (they're brothers), so I don't know how long that'll continue. Then again, they're leaving me the corp, so I'm not entirely sure what to do with it :P
ThetaOrionis01
Don't remember seeing you in fleet, Dark0ne ^^ I'm back in Razor alliance - one of the main alliances of the NC. We've just finished a clean up operation in Pure Blind and Deklein, removing some leftover bob pets from the North. It's been pretty much non-stop fighting in the north, since bob started their max campaign with an assault on Deklein in July.
samroski
My Corp (D.I.N.) has recently joined A Reaver's alliance (Starfleet Enterprises). Looking forward to activity on this front. We are in the process of incorporating new players in the corp and conducting ops to train and coordinate the roles of members. Abramul, our new CEO, has set up multiple manufacturing units for the corp. I am personally quite happy with the newer additions to our corp, and with 8 months of eve experience Abramul and I are now in a position to guide them. Personally I am trading between 3 high sec systems which takes up much of my time. I am continuing to experiment with exploration using my Buzzard, which is my favourite ship nowadays. TheTerminator2004
Sam, just out of curiosity, how do you manage to find new members for your corp? I'm pondering whether I'd be able to build the little corp I've suddenly got into something a bit better - right now, we have 3 or 4 actual players, and thats pretty much it :P Maybe joining an alliance would be an idea as well, but that does slightly go against how I'd prefer to play the game (as part of a small, close-knit team, going out ratting, bounty hunting, pirating, etc, rather than a big group of hundreds of people, most of whom don't know each other :P)
samroski
Sam, just out of curiosity, how do you manage to find new members for your corp?Term I am not good at this aspect of the game. Apparently there are ways to advertise, but I am not sure how. But we keep getting applications poosibly due to one or more of the following reasons:(a) We have like 25 offices all over the universe, making it convenient to apply(b) Our tax rate is 2.5% which probably attracts people© Our corp description says, "Join D.I.N. and free your mind"(d) We are damn good looking
TheTerminator2004
Probably being in an alliance helps too - thats how I found a couple of the corps I've been in, I chose an alliance I liked the look of, then just joined whatever corps happened to be recruiting :P I might leave my alt in charge of my corp, and bring my main back to rejoin you, I think - might be easier than trying to build up a corp on my own lol - fun, too. EDIT: That said, I quite like the freedom of being in charge of my own corp too... who would I contact to ask about joining Starfleet Federation? That would seem to be the best balance of freedom, but not playing on my own :P

That would seem to be the best balance of freedom, but not playing on my own :PMy 2 alts have 2 corps of their own (StarMages and Star Mages) and even though I made these basically to be able to use the corp wallet facilities, it is fun having one to yourself. I am even thinking of getting a few offices, recruiting a few members, making them directors and see what they get up to. The best person to get in touch with to join Starfleet Ent. is A Reaver - Bloodless Reaver in Eve. He's a Diplomat for the Alliance.
