Need help, i followed steps, mods not working, I included screenshots

I Downloaded the mods i want, Installed them then Enabled them, they are not working.

 

I checked download file location. I made sure Mods files and downloaded files directories are on the same drive as well as the game.

 

I think its not doing it for me, cuz the 1st mod i tried to download was skyUI and it was not working, Then I tried installing SkyUi manually and its worked. (ofc i have SKSE64 running).

A couple of comments.

 

What you have for Download Directory will work - but it is a bad idea. It is in Appdata, which is on your boot drive.

Change it to something like F:/Vortex/Downloads. Vortex will make subdirectories by game.

 

You have FNIS - which means you must run it. Set up a shortcut on your dashboard. Make sure you point it to the game directory.

 

Mods will never work unless you Deploy. You never mention doing that.

I have a question, i have searched for answers for a couple of hours now but finds nothing. i'm trying to start blade and sorcery with the star wars mod. I have enabled them all, downloaded all required mods to the mod. All of them are enabled but what ever i do nothing appears in the game, like i never downloaded any mods.. plz do you know why?

OK - there are better writeups and videos on this - but I can get you going.

 

Open Vortex, click Dashboard in the left margin.

Click the ICon marked Add Tool

In the box that opens, set Target to J:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISForUsers.exe

Set Start in to J:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\

 

That should really set the name to Fores New Idles. If not - set it.

Click Save

 

Now go to the Settings tab. On Interface, select Run FNIS on Deployment. You want FNIS to create a profile-specific data directory - and this works for me.

Later you may want to turn this off - so remember you did it.

 

Now click Deploy - and FNIS should run at the end. Remember to select skeleton patch and check for valid .hkx SE animations.
