sounds nice.

But the only real perk is that you get 1000 megs of space. It dosn't even have POP3.

Maybe if it had a large attachment allowence. It dosent specify what that allowence is but I assume its not as large as I would like.

But I guess I don't really care seeing as how I have the only two e-mail addresses I'll ever need.

Well the obvious upside is that other free-mail providers like Yahoo and MSN have been compelled to improve their service. Yahoo recently upped my account storage limit from 10MB (I think) to 100MB... a great deal more than I need. They also increased the attachment limit size from 3MB to 10MB. Not that I need to send attachments that large, but it is nice to have the option. I now use my real email account only for a select few things and allow my Yahoo mail to take the junk.

But 1000MB? Hmm... I'd like to know more about how they use personal information... If they do not use it, please invite me... If they do, I'd pass.

Hotmail are raising the stakes for all customers. Can't remember the exact figures any more, but I'm certain its happening.

For someone who owns his own servers with many different domain extensions, free email doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.
