MatrixCoder
So i have bought the Dragonborn Expansion from Steam. I have some worries that the expansion will maybe cause my game to crash at start. have around 100 mods installed plus Dawnguard and Hearthfire. It has worked great so far, but Dragonborn is a whole new ballgame. Does anyone share the same worry?
billyro
I dunno, since most of the mod is in it's own worldspace there will probably be a lot of standalone content which, hopefully, won't conflict with everything else. I'm not really sure, but just what I think.
Elsarian
I've seen the start-out of the DLC and the only thing that seems to have been edited in Skyrim's world space is that ship at Windhelm's docks where the captain there gives you random quests to kill old mates of his or something. He's the one that offers the ride to Solstheim, so I wouldn't be to worried about it. Then again, I might be wrong and there may be more that I'm just not aware of. Hearthfire messed up Breezehome tho... thats the only thing it made wrong.
Georgiegril
And Dawnguard caused major havoc, as did the preceding 1.8 patch. In my opinion, I would expect the new DLC/patch to crash your game. It might not, but if you are really attached to it, I would put off the download until you are OK with the idea that you might need to start a new game/character and reconfigure your mods. I would at least wait to see how others report the DLC is working for them...being among the first to play in on PC might be cool, but it comes at the price of dealing with the risks of untested variables. IMO, of course!
