Problem with RaceMenu for SSE

I've been having issues (or, more accurately, Vortex has) with successive recent versions of RaceMenu for SSE (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19080).

I'm getting an alert: "Script extender plugin errors detected". When I select More, I get this:

"Last time you ran the game, one or more script extender plugins failed to load. This normally happens when you try to load mods which are not compatible with the installed version of the script extender.

To fix this problem you can check for an update on the mod page of the failed plugin or disable the mod until it is updated.

Error(s) reported:

- "skee64.dll (RaceMenu - RaceMenu Special Edition v0-4-13): reported as incompatible during query"

Now, my RaceMenu is v4.4.13, released 7 Aug 2020, and my SKSE is the current 0.6.21.

What have I missed?

Confirmed - RaceMenu 0.4.13 has a problem with SKSE 2.0.17 plugins.

Drop back to RaceMenu 0.4.12 or go to the RaceMenu support forum for other suggestions.

And - actually - no idea what SKSE is the version 0.6.21 you reference.

What you have missed, is updating SKSE64 to 2.0.19 (which says 2.0.18 on the EXE)

1. UPDATE SKSE to 2.0.19

2. Check your Data\SKSE\Plugins folder and see if you have skeevr.dll in it.

If you do, rename skeevr.dll to skeevr.dll.bak

The author accidentally left the Skyrim VR version of the DLL in the mod.
