Illiad86
Haha, you'll probably wind up installing Windows 7 again. From the reviews I've read and the people I know, Windows 8 is pretty terrible :P
RitualBlack
I will pass on that 'deal' (though the price is actually very good). I still would rather be using xp but 7 meets all of my needs + is a maintained 64 bit OS. I don't plan on dealing with Windows 8's great new features we can't live without  . Best of luck to you though. Hopefully the $40 isn't wasted.
JimboUK
I wouldn't install it if they paid me $160.
ziitch
I'd rather have a free "downgrade" to Windows 7 Pro rather than upgrade to Win8 Pro. Windows 8 has been having driver support issues, so why do it now? I might have to move on to Linux nowadays. I don't need user-friendlyness as much as I did years before, and this version of Windows really isn't business/production-friendly.

hector530
i dont know why win 8 is so bad, other then the live tiles things. its pretty much the same. it looks the same as win7 in desktop mode other then the missing start button. live titles is meh. nothing special but still getting used to it but im pretty sure im gonna be in desktop mode 99% of the time anyway. i dont even know how to close apps in live title mode, i just alt f4 everything.
