I got a new computer and planning to copy entire data folder into new computer

If it does, will Vortex understand and manage it? Or do I have to copy vortex folder as well?

I recommend just reinstalling on the new PC, fewer headaches and it really isn't that hard.

I would, Except there are mods I have merged, turned into esl and what not and I don't remember which is which and It is quite frustrating.

If you installed them with a mod manager, and you want to install/remove mods, that's gonna be a problem if you simply copy them across.

 

If you don't wanna change your load order, then install the game, then copy the ENTIRE game over. (that way you also get any ENB's, script extenders, etc as well.) You need to install the game first, so that Windows is aware of it, and all the appropriate registry entries are put in place.
