JCThunder Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 So I got Windows 10 updated yesterday ... After that my Applications Like Vortex stopped working correctly...Doesn't give me errors or CTD or issues just does this weird never ending Installing mods textures so far didn't risk installing Mods with Esp files, At first I thought it doesn't install them since it doesn't change the mod to installed it stays as it is not installed , keeps installing forever so I exit the Vortex and quited trying to install them, the thing is , that once in game , I had tried to install a new Mountain Flower texture recet released and cause of that issue with vortex quited installing it , once in game I crossed some mountain flowers and saw that in fact the nex textures are installed, tried with some Robes textures and the same way they are installed , however the mods in vortex remain as if they didn't install.. Its weird but thought someone would know why its doing this and thought leaving it here so that Vortex Dev team would know this issue ! If anyone has a way of explaining or fix this please tell me ! Thanks

Asking this cause I just installed it over the same version I have and done nothing if uninstall it I am almost sure it will get all mods uninstalled after I reinstall Vortex !
JCThunder Posted October 18, 2020 Author Posted October 18, 2020 Well I made a reinstall of vortex and no go everything remains equal ...same issues ...didn't uninstall vortex cause that would have uninstalled all my mods..and ruined my game ...So will wait for a vortex update that usually resolves this issues..

Didn't knew , that but my doubt goes to if uninstalling vortex and reinstall it will make the installed mods like uninstalled and force me to reinstall all again ?? That is my doubt ..

Dude, chill out... Uninstalling Vortex removes the PROGRAM from your computer, it leaves ALL the Settings in the appdata\roaming\Vortex folder It leaves the DOWNLOADS folder and the MOD Staging Folder. There's no need for 10 more posts assuring you that uninstalling Vortex won't delete your mods.
AugustaCalidia Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Over the past two and a half years, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Vortex several dozen times, and this process has never, never, never removed my mods and my settings.
