TheMrX101
Basically from looking at the recent nexus gpu reviews for the 3080, it's clear that the asus TUF has the best cooling in a noise normalized test.but are those tests with the gpu at 100% useage?I don't plan to OC my gpu, I simply want to have the gpu with least amount of noise possible, while keeping my gpu under 70C when at 100% useage for long periods.Though ideally I'd rather buy EVGA for the customer support. RitualBlack
If you are only concerned about noise you can look into a card with the best caps (assuming the still sell ones that aren't fixed) and also works with being disassembled and waterblock it. JimmyRJump
The 3080 is a thousand per cent silent because you can't buy it anywhere. So, why bother?
JimboUK
I wouldn't buy one yet anyway, it would be wise to see what AMD's latest offerings are like, they might be more powerful and cheaper, the operative word here being "might".
alexsandro22
The 3080 isn't noisy at all. You have nothing to worry about. You can check nexus manuals http://nexus.manymanuals.com/ and find your model to look at its features. It helps me to avoid problems like "extra noise" before buying.
