YouDoNotKnowMyName Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Good evening everybody! It seems to me that the Fallout 4 Script Extender has less functionality then the SkyrimScriptExtender? Is this acutally true and if yes, why?

I just hope that people keep working on F4SE and not just abandon it ...
niston Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Also, the general attitude with f4se seems to be: "Write your own plugin." And they all probably hate the settlement system :P

And they all probably hate the settlement system  "Write you own plugin", yeah, kind of hard to do without documentation on the thing ... "And they all probably hate the settlement system":Yeah, that is what worries me. That the people who develop F4SE just move on to other things without documenting things and those of us who actually want to do stuff with F4SE in FO4 are kind of just "left with nothing" ....
niston Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Well, there's the F4SE source code. And somewhere in here in this forum is a thread detailing how to setup the tooling to work on/with it.There's also some plugin source code to be found here and there.
