Deleted100232623User
Good grief, can anyone tell me how to access the "expert tab" on the new xEdit. A couple of the features that are now located there, I need access to, in order to clean the navmesh in the dlc. I can't find the mysterious expert tab. Google just says it's only available to advance users that know how to access it, or something silly like that. The comment section on the FO3Edit page has been close down, for whatever reason. I really don't understand some of the changes with the program, but this particular change is just idiotic imo. Again, I'm trying to find the elusive "expert tab" just so I can control what happens to my formids. I'm about ready to go digging through my archives for an old copy of xedit. It works just fine... and I can find everything too.
M48A5
You should never clean the Fallout.esm, nor any of the DLCs. You never know when a mod will rely on something in them.
Deleted100232623User
First of all, this did not answer my posted question... how to access the expert tab in the new xEdit. There are certain features in that tab that are critical to modding my game properly. As well as manipulating my merged patch. Second, I require no modding lessons. I am quite adept already. Third, let me know if you get the answer to my initial question. Thanks. P.S. You can't clean the Fallout 3 master file. BlackRampage
Right-click on the Fo3Edit icon > properties > Shortcut tab. Then, under target, add the following parameter to the target line: -IKnowWhatImDoing So, for example, you'll end up with a target that looks like this: "E:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 3\FO3Edit.exe" -IKnowWhatImDoing The expert tab should now show in the options window in Fo3Edit.
