cyanide4suicide
Wondering what all of your thoughts are for when two seperate mod authors work on a similar mod concept independently of each other. If one releases their work first, should the other drop the project completely? Thoughts?
HadToRegister
They should both finish them, choices are always a good thing. The mods may be similar but do different things, of have slightly different features
Zorkaz
Sorry what? Unless its a five-minute mod forget it. Imagine having landscape painters this kind of thought. Or people showing up at a Comic-Con both dressed in their self-made Batman costumes. Also there are a thousand ways to implement things. The other mod might be buggy as hell in the end, while yours is fine.
Moldy
Competition breeds competence. Finish the product to the best of your ability, and the community will invariably gravitate towards the one which serves its desires most.
ToroMontana
As long as you're not stealing material it's fine. Do your own thing if you think your vision is better.
