WolfHawk
After a long hiatus I am once again going home...I mean playing Morrowind. I am running several mods. For some reason all of my ingredient names begin with a lower case "s:" sAsh yam, sTrama root, etc. Does anyone have an idea as to how to find out which mod or mods is doing this? The only actual alchemy mods I am using are those by James Frasier which just turns previously non-alchemical items into usable ones like cobwebs, grasses, etc. I have used all of them previously in multiple games without this problem. Thanks!
Oblivionaddicted
Except if I'm wrong it comes from MWSE.
WolfHawk
So I guess I just deal with it since a couple of mods require it?
AYLeiDRuiN
Are you using any UI mods? Few years back my UI got corrupted. Meaning it started out as "s" b4 words, like yours, then it went to a graphical glitch of dots and lines. I believe I was using big font and extended UI. Are you running the latest MWSE including the dev version w/ lua?Backup files & try a different UI/font.
WolfHawk
I am not using any UI mods. Although one of my other mods may have incorporated it and not mentioned it in the readme file. I believe I am running the latest MWSE, but not the dev iua one. I don't have any font changers unless, again, one was incorporated in another mod. Although your comment about having an "s" in front of your names makes me think it is related. I have never used siri's(?) alchemy mods, but I wonder if that "s" is how they designated their assets? If so, maybe one of my mods included those assets. I will try to get a listing of the mods I am using as I know that would be helpful in targeting the mod or mods causing the problem. Not sure how to go about getting the list though. AYLeiDRuiN
A few ways depending on your setup & apps. Mod organizer= \profiles\[profile name]\loadorder.txt Morrowind.ini at bottom lists "game files". Please put them in Spoiler tags :) Do you have the most recent MWSE w/ the "MWSE-Update.exe" in \Morrowind directory?Found something useful. Dragon32
<snip> Found something useful. How that person caused this bug sounds like GMST contamination. If OP's got the same problem then they could probably have a dirty mod which needs cleaning using TESTool, tes3cmd or whatever else is used these days.
