ShowAndTell
My list of favorites are1st: Old World Blues - It was a nice break in the seriousness that was Fallout. (You can tell that I didn't get the Wild Wasteland perk)2nd: Lonesome Road -Everything was building up to this final confrontation. Though admittedly the story was a bit difficult to follow, it felt good that you finally get to meet Ulysses.3rd: Dead Money - I really liked the setting, and the change of pace, however it sort of ruined it for me when every time I enter a room I have to madly look around for a radio and it sort of forced a trial and error every puzzle.4th: Honest Hearts - I honestly really like the setting and the general idea of one of the Legion's top commander somehow surviving all that punishment, but after you meet Joshua Graham the continuity of the story kind of just dies. I honestly liked searching for the Survivalist's caves more than following the actual story. All in all though, I was really happy just happy to have more content to my beloved Fallout save. charwo
Just for the alien haters, they've been a part of the Fallout universe since Fallout 1. I really wish there was more tie in with Zeta and the main campaign, like unfreezing more American soldiers and have them train BoS recruits, having Elliot as a companion telling off the Enclave they didn't know the first frickin thing about America, that sort of thing. The first piece of Fallout History isn't the War or even the buildup to the War. . .its the Japanese Guy getting kidnapped by Aliens. Have a question - I got two DLCs last night through STEAM. In the Data Files(NV Launch Menu NOT NMM or FOMM) they are Unchecked but when I loaded a save, the Quests were automatically logged into the Quest Screen and the World Map updated for Old World Blues and Lonesome Road of the Pipboy along with Perks and the +5 Level Caps. Is that a bug or just how the DLCs are incorporated into the game through STEAM?

If you don't want that, you can delete the *.nam files.
Deleted5121155User
I, honestly, just liked all DLC's equialy. They are all great in their own "special" way.
charwo
I just hated I had to go to Zion before I could get a .45 Colt and ammunition. Well that and I wanted rpestine versions of the armor. Like pre-war, just left the factory variants. If I leanr how to I want to taek the riot Armors and create non-numbered variants. I want to like the Desert Ranger get up, but I don't. And the 'I'm sorry MAMA!' in the helmet is get for environemtnal storytelling, but it's not somehing my characters would want to wear. That was someone else's issues. laclongquan
If you hate that, why not console in a copy of .45 Colt and 1000 empty cases of .45 rounds. you can throw away some valuable for that addition, if you feel the need. And if you want to use it you have to craft ammo yourself. you really dont have to play it if you dont want to, since the DLC is not that hard. I like the pristine environment of Zion. NEVER use the desert ranger armor, since I like my character light and armorless. Occassionally use just the guns, not that they are needed. The twisting back and forth of Sierra Madre also a different game from other zone. The hard limit on chems/weapon availablity is also pretty refreshing from the overabundance of Mojave. Old World Blues is nice. Great loots, good scenery. Lonesome Road is a good dungeon to satiate the bloodthirstiness of players bored with Mojave enemies. Attack markedmen in the radiated grounds is a special kind of sluggingfest you need to prepare for.
wabbawabbajack
1. Dead Money. Everything about it is awesome, the story, the setting, the acting, the writing2. Lonesome Road. The culmination of the entire game3. Old World Blues. Loses points because the mooks are all annoying bullet sponges and the whole DLC is nothing but one fetch and grab quest after another.4. Honest Hearts. I like Graham as a character but this DLC lacks depth. Whenver I do this one, I tend to grab the Desert Ranger Armour, the Survivalist's Rifle and do the main quest, grab all the Daturana I can find and get out. Wyatt19972
I loved all four of the dlc's. I think they were all great if played right. Dead money I agree, made me feel like i was in a saw trap. I thought it was awesome. Sure it was dark and frustrating but that just made it more fun for me. It did warn at the beginning that it was an extremely dangerous area. Honest hearts was short, but it takes a few hours longer if you do the side quests. However they can dissapear if you decide not to do them. All in all, loved the environment and Joshua was a badass. Old world blues is what most people consider the best, i consider it the second best. Yes it adds a new world space that isn't linear but so does honest hearts and it barely seems to get credit for that. And zion is bigger than big mt. Lonesome Road was my favorite and probably the reason it didn't make sense was because even though you can play the dlc's in any order, that're really meant to be played in the order I have listed them. Lonesome Road is as Ulysses describes "an ending to things." It marks the couriers last major adventure before he finally makes his stand as the hoover damn with whatever faction he has chosen to strengthen. Whats interesting to note is there are references to ulysses and the divide within the vanilla game, and within the other dlc's. Christine mentions "the other courier", you find a location in OWB marked "Ulysses watch" inside are two holotapes with dialogue of him and christine before the events of dead money. Joshua graham says he was expecting a different courier, doctor klein talks about a different visitor who asked alot of history questions. When you first meet johnson Nash in primm he hints that the original courier 6 was ulysses without mentioning his name. He's referenced everywhere. Also just as a note that the developers intended you to play them in that order, at the endgame slideshow for old world blues, it says "There was but one roadbleft for the courier to walk, and it was one he had to walk, alone." And if you talk to blind diode jefferson after completing old world blues, he'll say "Guess you'll be putting your walking shoes on again, hittting that old lonesome road." Anyways i hope this shes some light on things for you at least a little.
