Drohung
I have no doubts that, once released, a massive amount of people are going to love this mod. I already do, and it's only in alpha! Anyways, I think I figured out the issue with the feet coloration. The normal colors from Vanilla Skyrim use an alpha setting. The colors I use have no alpha. Without the alpha, the feet look strangely colored compared to the body. I don't know why the alpha does that, but the slightly off color is almost unnoticeable, so I just ignore it. Senviro
I'm not sure about the coloration either, but we ought find a fix someway or another. As for the popularity of the mod once released, there's no way to tell if too many people will really care until it's all ready and up for download. The male argonian stuff here is pretty much a pre-alpha now, since I'm trying to make both races use the same bodies while making them look different due to Derok's foresight. Not quite starting from scratch, but a slight step back to ensure there aren't many missteps in the future. http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o237/ZeladisXoi/Compare2Ced.jpghttp://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o237/ZeladisXoi/CompareCed.jpg If I get the balance right, it should work out for the argonian and khajiit since most of the changes are now going to be in textures and the feet themselves, rather than relying on the leg placement to give the proper bends. Derok
Guys I know you are all excited. But don't be mad if this mod will take a lot of time and it will released, if everything goes right... The end of this summer? I really like the shape and how you retopologized Khajiit feet. Nice work!
Senviro
I used photos of a lynx as the basis of the edits, per your suggestion, so if all goes well I can add to the topology and get more spaces between the toes while maintaining a realistic feline look to them. They'll look a bit more haphazard than the argonian legs for a while, since I didn't take the time to make any bones to steer the anatomy.
Furrywolf
I can't help but wish you'll make as sharp turns and long feets as the argonian but on khajiits. It looks like the Khajiits paws are looking to domesticated. A more feral ''big cat'' paw with longer heel would look more appealing for the khajiit frame I think. And no one makes a sexy joke about that cause it's from an artistic view >:3 Everyone's to sensitive = -=!
Derok
Sorry man I'm only for Argonians. Write for me a novel about a sexy Argonian lady bathing in an hot swamp and let's see... :geek: Edited April 15, 2013 by Derok
Danidragon
End of summer ? I'd say sooner than that,if the mod keeps growing in popularity like until now, you'll have helpers,I think. Also, just my opinion but I think the argonians feet, where they tuch the ground, should be be a tad larger ,because they don't look really like they'd provide too much support for the bigger body. Ex,dinosaurs . What I say is pretty much that the toes should be longer,a tad larger,(nothing some resizing can't do) and a tad more curved (look at the back of the foot at th image) if you see what I mean.http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_g7IQUpT7Nr8/TEnU4lE5MEI/AAAAAAAABlE/gzMkgDW7EF4/s400/trex.jpg

Senviro
I looked at a lot of lizards as references while I was making the argonian feet, and settled on the current look over the long-toed looked precisely because of the weight. Argonians are smaller, thus not as heavy and require less space between the toes, feet that aren't so large, and bones that aren't as thick. Also, making the toes longer is a bit more work than you'd think, since I'd have to repaint the texture, and add to the topology. It's not impossible or that out of the question, but I'm not sure it's necessary until we get all of the bodies done and take a good look at them side-by-side.
