DrakeTheDragon
same here, I never played fallout, I never really liked guns that much. Plus, with mods you can turn into a dragon BOF1-3 style I would love to see that in fallout. I'd look into Fallout if I heard it had an option to be a cool animal, but I think it's just another "Be what you already are" game and yeah, I don't care about guns either. GTA5 has looked wonderful though, just for the mods to play as dogs and stuff. A friend of mine converted some of my dragon meshes from OB for use in FO3 a while ago already. So far I don't think anything much ever came of it, but he was able to play as a (albeit wingless) dragon in his game that way.In games where your body is just another piece of clothing you wear, these things are sometimes really easy to implement, or at least to a certain extent. My currently released meshes and textures are, besides a few exceptions where I used other authors' textures with permission, always free for the takin', and convertin' to other games, if wanted, and they have been for about 10 years already now, if I'm not mistaken. Sadly only 1 author, Fearil, ever did anything like it in Fallout with them so far. But what else could I do, besides offering the assets for grabs and giving all help I can in modding a game that's rather alien to me? :ermm: Oh well, actually I only wanted to link you to the images, as you already asked about how much someone should go and put dragons into Fallout. Derok
That looks a little out of place, but there are many ways you could have a reptilian humanoid as playable race in the Fallout universe. Have a look at this: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/TunnelerI wouldn't really like furry races in my game, but atleast ghouls as a playable race (in the vanilla game) would be appreciated. And maybe other kind of mutants? Edited June 19, 2015 by Derok
Boombro
Fo is not just tes with guns! There is unarmed, melee weapons and bombs too! For unarmed, there is fist weapons with nails, claws and elements! For melee flaming swords and kitchen knifes! There is making chems, where you can make drugs that buff you but you will be a crack head. There is a weapon that shoot junk you loot. Another mini nukes. It has something called karma system. If you where very helpful people will chase you down, if you were bad, people will also hunt you down.It has lies and secrets hidden underground you have to find. And some much more that different from Skyrim. It also has a much more mature theme. It also has better followers. In short, fo is a game with everything related to Science fiction of the 50s in the US. With a screwed up sense of humor. At least the waiting is much shorter for you guys because you don't give a dame.
Derok
How can you say that? I can't wait for Fallout 4.Finally we could have meaningful quests which actually require some brain and that reward the player. No more fake, bland npcs. And yes, no more armors and weapons that look forged from clay.

I think your expectations are a little high, the quests will likely work just like Fallout 3's and skyrims did. there will be a quest log which tells you where you can go. the pip boy will give you a map to view and there will be fast traveling like normal. Choices may be limited on what you can say because did you not see the conversation menu? does not look good my friend. but like always Fallout4 will be a game of the year. yes, no more armors and weapons that look forged from clay. They did look good in the trailer! i am sooooo hyped! Edited June 20, 2015 by strazytski
Derok
Fallout 3 still had much better npcs and quests. Think about the quests when you truly had a meaningful choice that actually affects the world instead of triggering different dialogues, like Megaton's. In Skyrim the civil war, the Dawnguard quest, absolutely doesn't matter who wins. Maybe they will learn something from New Vegas, aswell. And you don't have some kind of magical 3D map that tells you exactly where you have to go.Or maybe it will be a casual boring shooter, but let me dream. Atleast the map is huge. niravair
Well, I've got four days off! UBR work time!Sweet!! Also, on the note of fo, I'm trying not to think about it. Cause if I do, I realize it's still 5 months away And I don't want to wait that long. My ps4 is collecting dust while it sits here and waits for the game. Also, drohung, how close so you think you are to finishing? Just percentage should work. Edited June 20, 2015 by niravair
Boombro
I think your expectations are a little high, the quests will likely work just like Fallout 3's and skyrims did.Nope. Todd Howard said the quests will be very different. They will have many paths you can take to complete them and fail them and different outcomes for each. Choices may be limited on what you can say because did you not see the conversation menu?I have been replaying f03 and fnv for the last month. Here what npcs chat menu looks like: 1-Ueselss 2-Useless.3-What do you have for sale?4-Useless.5-What did you say about your quest?6-Bye. It could work better really, by limiting topics and choosing the right npc for it. Let take oblivion, every npcs had what the rumors that is floating around topic and the guards can tell where shops and guild are. Why this is not in Skyrim?Because now inn keepers are the source of rumors and the city layout changed to be smaller and it became easy to locate. This made inn keepers tell stuff that really matters, quests and map markers of ruins and forts. While in oblivion it was hardly important to hear them. Guards now say funny stuff. It important to note that pc voices actor have a huge amount of experience in many video games in a lot of roles. They voiced lines for good, evil, cocky and many more type of characters for fo4. The wheel is also better when mapped to keys because it looks clean, easy to access and use/ In skyrim I always click the wrong option. Also this 2015, I'm sure if they needed more, there will be more like in mass effect.
