Hey Drohung. I wanted to tell you something. This summer I might actually go to Florida! So... If the mod isn't released yet, I'll find you. And I'll make you release it. Just kidding. I don't really know where do you live, yet.

Actually the pictures in DraketheDragons Anthro dragon race mod for oblivion looks a LOT like Morrowind Argonians minus the knee spikes and wings you can look there for reference. I wish he could use THOSE resources for his argonian beautification project instead as they look a lot better than a lot of the stuff included.

Hmm, Argonian Beautification was never about that though. But I agree, my Scripted Argonian Feet could use some better resources more fitting the... urgs, have to say it... *gulp*... lore.

Using jDayT's feet was my first approach, from a time long, long before I could model myself and create my own ones instead.

But I also don't see how the resources from my Anthro-Dragons could in any way pass the requirements for convincing Argonians. The feet would be the only part making at least some sense, but they're so far off the form they should be for Argonians that it'd make way more sense creating completely new ones from scratch instead. Argonian feet were three-toed, last time I checked, and they don't have a thumb claw either, especially not Godzilla-like on the outside like my humble mistakes of dragon feet have it there.

I am still planning to create better ones, and create more fitting clothing and/or armor items as well, but there's still not enough free time left to actually go about it to begin with.

Though if it's only about the resources, why not just switch the files? Nobody's stopping you from just copy&paste&rename the NIF and DDS files to begin with. They're completely interchangeable resources anyways after all, and everything I made has always been free for the taking, asking appreciated, but the "yes" is a given.

...But that's getting way too off-topic now. This is UBR and Skyrim here, not Oblivion.

Drake, may I ask, do you own Skyrim? If not, I'd like to know why you are so interested in the development, if it's either curiosity, or interested in later projects.

That is a really good question, actually. Some time ago I could've still answered it, but today... I don't know anymore. Mainly old habit, I guess? I still have it on my Tracking List for some reason.

No, I do not own Skyrim, nor do I really see it coming anytime soon for me to get it and get around to mod it. There's just no free time left at all anymore for this to make any sense at this point.

I'm following this topic since its beginning, because the project was interesting me, both from primarily being a beast race modder myself and having some possibly-useful knowledge to share, and because at that point back then I was still actively hoping to, planning to even, at some point buy the game and move on over to modding it as well.

Actually, right as we speak I'm still trying to stay up-to-date in regards to Skyrim modding technicalities and the ways it's done. Though I can't really tell anymore why exactly I'm still doing that. The chances for me to ever get around to it anymore have become abysmally small by now.

Who knows, maybe some day, when I get some more free time again, the very existence of this mod, and others I'm following, might convince me to change my mind and give it a try again, get that game and start to mod it as well. I'm a fan of The Elder Scrolls. I'll be following the developments of modding for any and all titles to come, even if I never get around myself to buy, play or actually mod them at all.

And it's projects like this, the beast races and especially making them something more discernibly "different" than just another human wearing a furry suit, which extraordinarily spike my interest in whatever ways possible.

But you're probably right. The usefulness of my ancient and out-dated modding knowledge has become anything but worth the time at this point. My participation within this topic is only that of a mere watcher anymore, and the occasional posts into my direction I feel compelled to reply to serve more as a distraction than anything of use, sometimes derailing the thread even. So if you think I should leave, at any point, just let me know and I'll remove it from my Tracking List.

-removed, doesn't belong here, just me being moody-

I clearly missed something up there.

So, I haven't uploaded to Nexus before, uh...

How do I make a mod page...?

I would make a practice document with code and everything just to make sure its perfect. Then just go to your nexus user area on the skyrim nexus and click "add a new file."

Works for me. Time to get cracking.

Refreshes Nexus page every 30 seconds way too excited

Hey, whoa now, I don't get a day off until tomorrow! I'm getting it together, you just gotta hold on a LITTLE longer!

Stay right where you are! you enjoy watching the development clearly and being here, this isn't a special club, all are welcome to this thread specially you. though my attempts at getting your mods to work for oblivion was not easily achieved (I rather blame my inexperience in modding)

There was a time where I thought it would be awesome to get closer to this "fandom", whatever you want to call it, but I haven't ever really been in, while there's something I always enjoyed about it, and I still do. I have all these very ambitious, almost naive, ideas about creating my own stuff. Too many of them, and life is too short, expecialy considering at some point of my life I will have a lot less free time to do what I want, and all these "childish" hobbies I have. I probably sound very egoistic here, thinking that I sort of "leveled up" now, and mods like these aren't what I want to do anymore. What really matters though, is that I want to create something. Something that is cool, unique and will be remembered, or even something small, but that I will be proud about. Would it be a mod, a game, whatever.

I'm a bit like you Drake. I still follow a mod I for a game I don't play. Or perhaps I'll play it, just to see if Drohung did a good job. Maybe it's time for me to leave, find something else to do, but I don't even know what I want to do with my life either, so what about my free time? I guess I'll have to find my own aswers. All I know it that I love videogames.

Also what the fluff is happening in that pic?
