Vortex keeps downloading blade and sorcery extension

no matter how many times i remove it... vortex keeps downloading "game-bladeandsorcery_0.2.2.7z" without my permission.

I don't have blade and sorcery and the only game i play is Skyrim SE.

Went over to take a look at extensions and the remove button for blade and sorcery can be clicked... it asks me to restart vortex after doing so but nothing changes.

 

any idea why this is happening?

It keeps downloading it, because you keep removing it.

It's part of Vortex.

 

 

It's like complaining that your local mechanic keeps putting your steering wheel back on, because you keep removing it.

i just found it weird cause i never removed it in the first place... then found it in my downloads.

It gets downloaded because there was a bugfix to the B&S support and we don't always want to update the entire application to fix a problem in a single extension.

Since the support for this game is part of the main application and it is responsible for identifying the game in the first place, we can't make the update depend on whether or not you have the game.
