I need a narrator for a machinima I'm planning.
The whole project hinges on me finding the right voice actor though.
I need an old male voice, gravelly, sage-like. It'd be even better if there was a moderate Japanese accent.

Basically, think Mako. Iroh from ATLA, Aku in Samurai Jack, and Akiro in the Conan flicks.

- I can also create creature growls though using heavy flanging and vocoders. Not "roooar!" kind of growls. More like cinematic-tier monster growls.
- I often use voice filters to make my voice sound more monstrous, alien, eldritch, etc. Refer to samples.
- I'm mostly employed because of my trailer-ish voice. This voice uses no filters. Refer to samples.

-A female Nord guard

-1-2 Innsmouth Females

-1-2 Innsmouth Males

-1-2 Yellow Sailor Males < Should be the same/similar voice to the Innsmouthers, can be same actor

-Posse Leader - A Female Nord & Vigilant of Stendarr

-Random Prisoners (Human, Elf, Orc, Khajiit, Argonian; Male & Female) - Only a few lines each

Hi! I'm looking for a Voice Actress to play a role in my follower/ companion mod Aurlyn Dawnstone, found here:

This role is Serenity, Aurlyn's long-lost daughter, who is a Nedic/ Nordic pilgrim/ wanderer who has an affinity with nature, and is in tune with Nirn. She uses nature and earth-themed spells in combat, obtained from these two mods/ resources:

Hmm... I think I'll call it Centric Delvings.

Serenity: What brings you here, traveler grim, to brave the unfathomable depths beneath the dark, and tread a path that even Sithis would shun?


Player: I am but a wanderer, who was drawn to the light here.


Serenity: Then even at the end of time do the nature of all things remain, and still shall I see a shorebound heron, who huddles in its warm nest, and braves not the whirling tempest and fierce lightning.


Player: I go where I please, and heed naught but random chance.


Serenity: Is it chance you follow, or the dictates of fate most subtle? For to have one is to be bound by the other, and the greatest of care should be taken if you are to master their forlorn songs, rather than dancing to their tune.


Player: I don't know. Why don't you tell me?


Serenity: I know what you seek. You thirst for knowledge and adventure; the chance to explore endless worlds and drink in the lore of a thousand times and places. I am but a small fragment of the fragmented tapestry that weaves all dreams together, but it only takes the pull of one thread to unravel everything.


Player: Actually, I'm looking for you.


Serenity: Are you? It has been so long since I was acknowledged as a distinct entity, or has it only been moments since that night by the crystal shore? I fear I have delved too far, but for now, you have my attention. Speak your mind, seeker, and I shall do the same.


Player: Who are you?


Serenity: I am Serenity. Too long ago, on a Midsummer's Eve, I was estranged from those I hold most dear. Yet this was done with no hostile intent, for I have glimpsed the darkness at the Heart of Nirn, and chose to delve these endless depths that even my mother's light cannot penetrate. Now, I wonder if our meeting means my path is finally clear, and my choices finally my own.


Player: Wait. Your dictation and tone sounds very familiar...


Serenity: Is it? Ahh... I see the truth in your eyes. So you've met my mother, yet still know not of my existence. Let me introduce myself: I am Serenity Dawnstone, daughter of Aurlyn, and delver of the endless depths at the Heart of Nirn. Something stirs there, a chaotic tempest that heeds not even the combined voices of every Emissary on Nirn, yet I have ever sought it out, in an effort to contain it lest it spill over, and bring doom upon all the world.


Player: Your mother wants to know of your fate.


Serenity: Does she? I wonder, to what purpose? Don't be dazzled by her fancy words and philosophy; she can just as easily turn against us both if she thought it was for the greater good, although I'm sure you already know that firsthand. But nevermind that. Tell Aurlyn that I'm safe, although I pursue a great darkness at the Heart of Nirn, which trickles ever outward, moment by moment.


Player: Why does this quest of yours captivate you so?


Serenity: My quest binds me because I believe I am close to unraveling the ultimate fabric of reality itself, and peer not just into the world we both came, but others as well. An infinite array of flashing lights and computations, all culminating to the shared dreams of an entire realm... That is something worth devoting my life to find.


Player: Does that preclude you from traveling with me?


Serenity: No. I will gladly walk by your side, through all the horrors of this world and beyond, for I see in you a touch of destiny; the will to mold and shape this world as you see fit. Let me know when you wish for us to depart, and rebehold the stars.


Player: Follow me, I need your help.


Serenity: Light our way.

Hello, my friend gave me the link and showed me that you're interested in voice actors. I would liek to apply for the R'lyeh male human prisoner. I have some experience in this voice actor works, and am currently voice acting as the central role in a movie that i'm writing with my director friend. I can't do much variation in my voice and it's somewhat bland, so this human role is perfect. Now my microphone isn't that good, but my friend has a popfiltered condensor, so we'll be good there. I will send a singular sample of my voice, but please be advised the quality is not the greatest because i'm currently at home and not at my friends--Just listen to the voice.

So it looks like my main female voice actor won't be able to help out for personal reasons. Therefore I also need a talented female voice for two of my main characters:

 

Ghoragdag - A badass orc sea captain. She's a no-nonsense warrior and leader that's sailed all over the western coasts. She never believed in sea monsters . . . until one swallowed her fleet.

 

Tiamat, Chaos of the Sea - Tiamat is the spirit of the chaotic ocean. Cruel and powerful, she is a living storm, an embodiment of fury. She attacks Dawnstar as a colossal storm atronach. After you defeat her she manifests as an icy blue wisp mother. She is broken and stripped of her power, but still proud. She is a goddess.

 

These two are both major characters, and I really need some talented women to pull them off. Please message me if you are interested.

Sounds like a great follower, Teylin! I'd really appreciate it if you would post some line/ theatrical script samples; it might also give VAs a better idea of the role they're playing. Thanks!
