Pellape
NPC's only use Object Scripts as far as I know and Quests can only use Quest Scripts. You have 3 types of scripts and which type to choose, you do that in the pop down menu up at the right corner in the script window in standard CS and in the lower right at ECS I read.Magic EffectObjectQuest Be sure you choose the right one. Here's a screeny I made for someone that couldn't find his Quest Script. The benefit with Quest scripts is that they are not bound to a specific cell and you choose how fast they should run as well, which is so damn nice as it does't effect performance that way, not noticeable at least. But you can only use them inside a quest, at the quest first TAB called [Quest Data] Edited January 14, 2021 by Pellape
Oblivionaddicted
I confirm you need to set the script as an object one to apply it on your NPC. Edited January 14, 2021 by Oblivionaddicted
Dimitrisgb
Thanx. I made it, but now I have two scripts. How do I delete one of them?
Pellape
You can do that in 2 different ways. Either with TES4Edit or CS. In CS. Click icon number 6 that looks like this [X] and it is a red X and double click the script you want to delete. Save and restart CS to be sure it is gone. Do not ever click Icon number 5, well if you do, do not proceed... Edited January 14, 2021 by Pellape

Striker879
Thanx. Do you know how can I see the console for the messages? They will be found in the Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion folder (look for MessageLog.txt). Edit - Oops ... was thinking of the wrong topic.
Pellape
Do you meant from your scripts or Messagelogger or Conscribe?
Dimitrisgb
I get a message that 'rent' is an unknown variable. Kind of strange, since I used in in the first place
