Gaming Tablet?

Ya, a tablet you can play PC games on.

Razer, the company that makes gaming mice like the Deathadder, has released it or is soon to.

I haven't read much on it, but it seems intriguing. But I'm not getting one.

What do you think?

It would depend on the size of the tablet and the PC game to be played on it. Some PC games would prove better played on a smaller tablet type screen than others would. Games like Skyrim, with its sweeping landscapes, might not come out so good. It would be interesting to play some of the older games on a tablet like Doom 2 but perhaps that can already be done. I just recently got my first tablet and have much to learn.

Touchscreens are useless when it comes to proper gaming, your fingers get in the way of what you're looking at, it's like holding the controller in front of your face when playing on a console.

It is a great device, i own one myself, and the screen is the best of its kind, and the quality makes up for the size alone, it is indeed a HD device. Except its only in 720P, for a handheld is great nonetheless.

90% of all psvita owners are satisfied with the device, even though its not selling as it should, the quality is there.

im not a fan of handheld games. im never on the go, so if im at my house id choose to play my PC or PS3 near every time, its why my 3DS doesnt get played. my friend on the other hand is in the Army. while he just finished Basic and can now play Ps3 and whatnot in his barracks, he says when he got the Vita it was the only thing he could play, and he still enjoys playing it even with other options. hes always liked handheld gaming. we both had PSPs, and he used his much longer (doesnt play it any more but says he doesnt regret it, like i do....i sold mine and bought the 3DS...though i do regret selling it, only because i got far less that what i could have. it was in near mint condition with a couple of games, and the charger. literally got crap for it, but at the time i was so anxious to get rid of it and get a 3DS i didnt really care haha. but looking back i shoulda kept it or sold it on ebay or amazon or something, but live and learn lol.) we both have 3DSs, though neither of us really play it. i played Pokemon Gold on it, nostalgia of the game i spent the most time on as a kid. may eventually get Black or White just to see how the new Pokemon games are, but because i could care less about the new pokemon, im in no hurry lol.

as for the Vita, i gotta say it looks great. there are a few games on there that i would enjoy. and the support its supposed to have in the future, esp witht he PS4, and the potential it has, does interest me, despite my lack of interest in handheld gaming. the one place i could see me using it is at my gfs house, because she doesnt have cable or a computer (she uses her phone). i wouldnt be able to use it much (maybe while shes in the shower, or if shes gone, etc) but its the one place i could see me using it. that all said, i would really only consider the Vita after a large price drop. as in around $150. is the device worth $250? imo yes. much more then the 3DS was at that price (though the new 3DS they have looks great. if i could trade mine in for the newest one i probably would hahaha) but because of my lack of interest in handheld gaming, i wouldnt pay more then $150 for the Vita. though the way the sales are going, and considering there has already been a Price Drop in Japan, i wouldnt be surprised to see a Price Drop here too far off. at the veary least by Holiday Season, if not sooner, but between Christmas and the launch of the PS4 at the end of the year, it would be a smart move to make sure the Vita is cheaper at that time.

the psvita is in a field of its own compared to the 3ds, there is allot more games coming to the psvita, 100 or more then this year alone, even a gran turismo is coming out for it. Maybe even a Borderlands

i wasnt comparing them. i was simply stating my experience with handheld gaming, and how, while ive tried with multiple systems, i never really get into them.

Hmmm you can tie your ps3 account with the psvita, makes it easier to keep track of everything. Even though you might not have any interest in games now, you never know what might take your fancy. Especially when the ps4 comes out. it might have some higher purpose then just a handheld console.
