Good Modding music?

Mega Thanks for your input SunlitEarth and you know I wouldn't get started without you guiding me in that direction.

I did that bloody freestyle thingy accurate before the recording. It is a bit harder then I keep thinking it is. The mind is a tricky business for sure. I installed Vmix now and I will see what I will be able to do with it. I did spend 2 hours or so with making that video, preparing for it and so on. You did ask somewhere about the water inside the box and I put the soap water there not for the sound, not to increase the fatness, nor making it a bit louder but to get rid of the dust inside and I almost managed it but it is still a bit smelly. I do hope I will be able to get you started with the 2 simple chords I learned 1971 as I did not have thin elf like hands then. I told my mom 1973 to call Harris, trying to convince him to let me start playing the guitar instead of the Mandolin, but he kept telling her that I needed to have bigger hands. I do think I was forced to play mandolin for 1-2 terms, semester's or what you call it. We say Termin in Sweden, for me it was Vermin. I never forget those hard double string stuff, 8 string mandolin.... Damn... I do remeber that I felt proud when I tested it up at the music Main school at the Gamla Torget, Old Square in Mölndal.

I do suspect my bass did disappear, just up the hill here. Today it is Mölndal Museum but then we had 30-40 rehearsal rooms there. To continue, 200 more meters, is where my old tent went POFF, the fire 1983, Grevedämmet. That blue house and it is also where I tested YYZ on the black Rickenbacker, that was so hard to play. We also did some practice in the red brick building to the left and we also had community stuff there we did. Harris music store is up that bridge to the left of the red house.

Damn, I do think it is soccer time for me, Sweden - Greece...

Damn. I knew I could do stuff with the computer, adding some cool music software to your phone or pads but seeing it in reality, did blew my mind of and it will only cost me €60 to order the stuff today, well that is more than double of what my current guitar did cost 1975 so lets see what I did have in mind, shall we and also see some in action, a very cool instruction video, made by a steel string guru. A few words first about steel string guitar's.

Steels strings and IRig Aucoustic

A steel string guitar has more power in its strings, lets say the power is 30kg in Nylon, mine is maybe 25kg but a steel string is maybe 50kg. Do not trust me on the numbers though as I might got them wrong. I do know my thinner and KLONK sounded strings have less power than standard. So how is the steel guitar to play? Hard and so damn difficult. Even when I get the skin back, the thick skin on my left finger tips, I will always get ache from them, no matter what. It is much harder to play on that steel guitar we will see in this video than it is to play my Charvel or Richards old Jackson. I do think I also tested another Jackson, owned by a friend Magnus, also known as Snus. I do think we can find him easy on the Youtube later. I did try to play YYZ with him ones as well, around 1983, in that blue house, where my tent said POFF. He do play professional as well I think as he said so the last time I called him, nagging about Rush, around 1993. I almost forgot about Snus. Well lets start to listen to that video, with the steel string stuff, electric toys and some damn good playing. Lets see how music and sound can be modded cheap and good, shall we?

Wow. I did find Magnus Snus Lindqvist. Damn. :D

I told you, he is on Youtube. He loves to mod amp's it sure looks like. I am not surprised. He speaks swedish but I do get it translated to english in real time right now on my screen.

I was extremely active in the music community in Mölndal for a long period and I did meet a lot of musicians. Magnus is the best and fastest guitar virtous of our generation from Mölndal and Rikard might come 2nd. Rikard played Lucather, perfect 1983 already and so did Magnus, who knew all Rush stuff as well back then. Damn, I do envy those guys. I also worked with his mom at Ericson who is damn cool violin player, Swedish folk lore music mostly.

Funny toys

That bass effect blew me off, from the first video in this reply. Damn, I will try that one and I thought I had to do the low bass stuff with my voice, well I can add that too, as you will not hear it most likely, not if I do not say so.

So what stuff will I order today? Well if I can get my mobile Bank ID straighten up, I will try to order these toyz:

51438627841_21285ba639_o.png

Irig AMplifier €8
Guitarr mic €20
Digital Tuner €8
USB Condesator Mic	€20

More stuff from Magnus Snus Lindqvist - Damn  I do not actually know if that channel is made by the same Magnus Lindqvist, as I did find a couple of them...

What did I learn about microphones at the Freeze House in Stockholm around 1988? A Condensator Microphone has 2 cupper plates moving towards each others, with a current between them, usually powered by 48V so I bet that mic does similar.

All I can do now is to wait. The toyz are ordered. I will play with Rush now soon, the caravan and make a draft, with that klonky headset mic... What I really love to play with is the old Chorus sound and higher quality sound. I sure wanted to keep my recording as easy and plain as possible but I sure need to sharpen myself and be flexible about it. See ye again in an hour or so :D hopefully with a nice draft link for you to mod around with.

I also made an upload to Youtube. It seems that locked the possibility to comment so something is not straight there. I am waiting for feedback as I did send them some a few min ago.

Also available at Kapwing where you will be able to mix and edit it: I did turn down Rush Volume from 20-15%, right now. https://kapwi.ng/w/1ZBPBOvmDW

I also came in contact with Magnus Lindqvist at Facebook, so we did chat some. I am waiting to get some more links from him, in case he have any, that is. I will try to contact Rikard as well, if that now is possible, to see if he has some fun links or similar.

Just got respons from Magnus that he plays all guitars and stuff on this recording.

I also sent some comments and links to Bemt-Åke Tenghult, the one I accused as a tenburner, as I saw him at Facebook now, requesting for my friendship, as it seems I lost it somewhere there. I will really ask him who did burn down the bloody tent :D Who cares these days?

Damn. I had to make some edits at my Youtube channel to allow comments and such. So if you have anything to add about them, feel free to do so, here and there and everywhere

Zappa - Packard Goose

Rush - Natural Science

https://kapwi.ng/w/pQhXpEgPM0

I think I did less faults here but I am not entirely awaken when I did Rush and when I did Zappa, I had been out with the dogs and some wet stuff is dripping in my face.

My old pal Svempus popped by at the Introduction video and said hello. I asked him if I could borrow some of my old stuff. Lets see what he say.... ;)

i don't have a dedicated sound card, so i've always used separate music. this of course, does not exclude general audio sounds (ie. foot steps ... unless there is no audio for such, USV)

i've always appreciated alternative, sooooooooo:

nine inch nails ranks up there and as i know many vid games are already being constructed by Reznor.

ministry, high tepo and a great deal of edge.

i decided to switch over to just purely instrumental. so i focused on goth myself, which oddly i find myself listening to not just while i'm playing. many of these playlists can either be streamed, which i would suggest Firefox, as it has a 64 bit platform. i'll grit my teeth, there are plenty of plug-ins that'll let one rip music off of the internet ... if one likes it, support the artist. i've always preferred a try-it before ya-buy-it approach, which seems to apply to everything else besides digital media.

any who, the benefit of ripping or buying, is one eliminates the 32 bit constraint of the game and can play all music in a 64 bit player (ie. vlc) . this frees up the game to focus on more pertinent things, such as rendering.

well, i shall digress.

on a final note, it's important that if one is looking for music, irrelevant one will lose the change from incombat to not ... at least to the best of my knowledge. i use large mp3 instrumental content ... it's all one big bundled (one track) mp3 ... 1 -2 hours, i play it w/ vlc x64. if one is doing a search via youtube, audio can be ripped from vid ... once again, please support the author if one likes. with most of my searches in youtube, i always want to hear/see large volumes. with music, i set the filters for +20 minutes.

-------------------------------------
came up with several playlists that i find well suited for the game. they're instrumental and each have their own unique flavor. so, as pre-mentioned, if i'm in a city or a slow-impact situation, i opt for the more calm, then vice versa.
