so i just thought, maybe a youtube section would be cool, where u can submit a link of skyrim/mods and it simply comes up in 6 thumbnails on main page just like images? then on click, go to page with embed in same way?

just a thought

Do you mean on file pages, or like how the image share works? If it's the former we already have that, and if it's the latter it would just really be another form of advertising which I think we have plenty of opportunities for. Edited by Ironman5000

like how image share works. and yeah there will be advertising, but more importantly its another form of media. people like looking at pictures, and they also like looking at videos :) plus u could see more mods and peoples setups in action, and other more interesting things like skyrim movies etc

The concept is good when you consider short movies or stuff like that, but another problem is that it would be harder to moderate when you think about rules about nudity, spoilers, illegal content (meaning mostly banned mods which aren't allowed to be hosted in the image share). I have had a look around and apart from mod reviews and mod trailers there is little else to just sit and watch, despite how much I would like that.

How would this work? embedding YouTube videos or hosting them here? I'm asking because I do some with music in them, if they're embedded from YouTube then the licencing is their problem, if they're hosted here then music may become problematic, the normal background music in the Elder Scrolls would be copyrighted but I doubt it's inclusion in a video here would bother Bethesda, however the fallout games contain music that doesn't belong to Bethesda, that would be an issue.
