Hexlicious
I'd much rather have them fade out then look awful the way they do, I tried using BethINI but I can't really make it work the way I want, even tried putting every slider to the bottom and it still loads distant objects. Some example images of what I mean with fancy red circles:https://i.imgur.com/qN8B9e8.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/0raSkEm.png Edited February 26, 2021 by Hexlicious
HadToRegister
Why would you not be able to see those things?
anjenthedog
Not sure what's "awful" about them myself. And no idea how one would remove entire mountain chains from the view either. Or for that matter, as HadToRegister said, why one would.
Hexlicious
Clearly there is some confusion here even though my explanation was quite clear... In video games there is render distance and draw distance, objects that go past the fully rendered distance away from the character tend to look great, while objects within the fully rendered draw distance often look graphically worse to save resources, these objects in this game particularly look awful with no better word to describe them, empty green hills and trees that look like they were pasted in with paint, the mountains look ok but that is mainly due to the lack of color and detail, and being able to cover them with clouds to further cover up the noticeable graphic downgrade. What I want is a wall of fog much similar to the one in the picture Anjenthedog posted, only that the wall would be noticeably closer and pretty much hide all these terrible looking distant objects, or at least "blur" them in a way. anjenthedog
The fog is dynamic. Had I posted a video, you'd see the fog moving, and that at different times there is heavy fog, mild fog, or none at all
Hexlicious
I'm fully aware of how the fog works in the game, since when did mods ever care about the limitations of a game, what I want is a mod that causes abnormally heavy fog at all times. Hexlicious
I think they want basically Morrowind Default settings All I want is to not be able to see all those distant unrender fugly trees, they completely kill my immersion.
