Celevan
I've been trying to enable a couple of mods from Nexus (specifically True Realistic Item Weights and True Medieval Economy). These require patching with SSEdit and Mator's Xedit Patching Framework. Creating the patch seems to work correctly. It completes without error messages. However the patch it creates (TRIW.esp) keeps giving a Vortex error that it is not a valid plugin. I would appreciate any insight on this. I have tried posting on the individual mod Posts pages but I haven't heard back from them. I want to make sure that it is not a Vortex problem. HadToRegister
I'm assuming since Mator's MXPF is in the SKyrim section, that it's ESP output ends up being Form 43, meaning an ESP for Skyrim/Oldrim, rather than Form 44 for SKyrim Special Edition.Since it's a Merged patch, there's no way to load it up in the Skyrim SE Creation Kit and resave as a Form 44 ESP. Celevan
Okay, that's an interesting point. Both True Realistic Item Weights and True Medieval Economy have been ported to (supposedly) to SSE but you are correct that Mator's MXPF is in the Skyrim section; however, (if I am understanding the process correctly) Mator only creates a script file (TrueRealisticItemWeights.pas) that is then run in SSEdit. Since the output is actually created by SSEdit, wouldn't that create the proper form? I'm a bit surprised that there were not any posts for either mod of anyone else having the same problem. Celevan
Just ran the created patch through SSEEdit and it shows the created plugin (TRIW.esp) as being Form 44.
