ZoMHead
in 2011 when Skyrim was released, i did not buy it. I knew if i got it, i would be hooked. I bought the game during the december 2012 christmas sale, along with all the DLCs. Since December, i put in nearly 1,000 hours in the game. Half of that was spent on new characters (full on mage, thief, full warrior, battle mage etc). Skyrim is really a work of art, no other game will make you travel to one side of the country, to gather ebony or collect grass pods, creep cluster and go back just to craft the potions and weapons/armor you want. All of this while being attacked by animals, bandits and dragons spawning out of no where. This game ticks all the boxes for what a gamer wants, forget co-op and multi player, and this is coming from me, a COD and BF player (i completely ditched those two hack infested copy and past games). The amount of freedom in mods, is just mind blowing as well. The only thing that bothers me, is that whatever class you play as, the only way to hit level 81 is to master everything, which is stupid if you are a mage and you need to face level 55+ enemies with one handed or two handed weapons at level 15 or so. Same thing if you are a warrior, such low stamina and spells being resisted by most enemies. Should had given certain perks/skills for certain classes and that is it, like any other RPG game, but every game has its cons, no game is perfect. I am so sad that no more DLCs are in the works for Skyrim, with so many questions left unanswered. Never touched fall out series, I do not like guns and such. Heh heh heh. :P Personally, I'm looking forward to Dragon Age 3 at the moment. I can have a rest from Bethesda's games. :smile:Used to be such a COD and BF shooter kid, but hated it very quickly over the years thanks to the horrible p2p in MP and hackers. Skyrim was a huge change for me, i look back at COD and BF, and just shake my head and ask myself, what the hell was i doing back then. Especially when devs keep giving us the finger on PC with crappy p2p, no mods, no proper anti cheat etc.
chikawowwow
I'm somewhat sceptical about getting excited for Fallout 4; New Vegas had some good ideas but it didn't have the same atmosphere of desperation like FO3 did. I got quite excited for NV but they made it too happy, I appreciate that is the lore for that area but it made the whole game a sort of parody of the post-apocalypse. For me at least. TES6 is a long way off I reckon so there's no point for me to worry about it for now. My anticipated games:Rome 2 Total Warand oddly- South Park Stick Of Truth, I know I should be ashamed but the trailer (E3) was awesome!
breakwind
I picked TES VI as I am looking more forward to that, but I don't mind the Fallout games either

Fallout and Elder Scrolls are way better.

hubsabubs
You know, I have been playing Skyrim for a couple months now, gotten into some serious modding. IMO this game lacks so many decent features, I am glad to see them dropping Skyrim from their platter at Bethesda Games. The game has been out for about a year and a half and yet it lacks sooooooooooooo much. The melee combat system in itself is difficult due to shortage of a targeting system, you just hack and slash until you hit something. I'm tired of throwing myself off cliffs and into gulley's/valley's when I do a power attack and or miss an attack on someone. The bow targeting is off by a little bit to the left so you have to learn to over adjust when you fire just to hit the target. The battles in this game are ridiculously underpowered, and the monsters you have to defeat you can cut through like butter. Where are the epic boss battles and realm invasions. I wanted to see some Huge bosses. Each dungeon lacks in number of bad guys. I want large epic swarms hell bent on defeating me, or stopping me from completing my quests, I want blood spattered brutal mayhem when raiding a dungeon. Why is it I can attack from my horse, however there's no battles or enemy encounters that take place on horseback. I would really love some mounted player on mounted enemy battle action. How about some dragon mounted aerial battles? Considering you can ride them in the Dragonborn DLC. The roleplaying aspect falls short of an actual RPG. Where is the running jump? I can't jump while I run, do you know how difficult it is to run up a mountain have to stop then wait a second then jump an obstacle then run some more. The leveling system is shot, I have never played a game with a worse leveling system. And they try to cover it up with Legendary skills. Please come on. Yes the environment is immersive, but again lacks so much realism. Where are the drunken brawls you would find in a tavern or alehouse? Or some street action you would find in the alleys or side streets of cities. There's no entertainment. Where are my wenches at? Why can't I sit down and play some lore friendly games in a tavern? Chess, cards, something who knows just something. To me they spent more time on the look of the game than the actual game itself. I want better, and I doubt Elder Scrolls Online will do it for me Edited April 19, 2013 by hubsabubs

Vanadinit
Both of them sure will be made for the console marked and because of that I don't like it. Stupid Huds, Inventorys, hotkeys and the all seeing quest marker. Less to read more to just push forward and ofc find a piece who is 4000 years old but none before was able to find it but with your magical quest marker NOOOO problemoo. No way after Morrowind was out and I saw what they changed in Oblivion and Fallout 3 (what is no fallout in my opinion). Both of those I only played for several hours and I still have a working morrowind. And yea why not Cyberpunk 2077?I also would vote for Arma 3 because of it complexity and upgrades it get for the new one. This game could easy do what the guys behind STALKER promising features after they first announce that game but where never be integrated on the original or the games who follow. sisterof
I won't be TES VI so soon, unfortunately. I'm quite alright with Fallout 4 - I love the series. Hopefully it will be something that offers more freedom like New Vegas did, in terms of player character. I never liked the "pre-story" forced upon the player on Fallout 3, even though several elements of FO3 are superior to FONV. New Vegas is just so decadent and hopeless and bright, can't help liking it more.So... Fallout is a beloved series and FO4 a welcomed game. Now let's hope their announcement won't be about some other lesser series.Regardless, anything they announce now will take years. So I'm looking forward to Dragon Age III actually.
