Importing heightmap for worldspace: How to convert the heightmap to 32bit single channel floating point dds ?

Good evening everybody!

 

So, when trying to import a heightmap into the CK, it says that the heightmap should be a 32 bit floating point single channel dds file.

 

But how do I get a existing heightmap into that specific "format" ?

 

I already searched around a bit online and couldn't really find anything usefull ...

 

 

Please help, if you know how to do this ... !

Photoshop with a dds plugin

I have that.

 

If I select "no compression", I get 32 bit with colours.

But not floating point 32 bit single channel (that means only black & white & everything in between) .

 

How do I achieve that?

What settings do I need to change?

 

I use the IntelTextureworks dds plugin for the 2019 version of PS.
