RagDollSam1
Ok so My game of Skyrim is up to date and I was playing and all the sudden my game stated to do these random 2-5 seconds of freezing it wouldn't crash the game I could play the game but every 1 to 2 minutes the quick freezing would accure and it made it extreamly annoying to play the game. I tried to find a fix for it but it didn't work, and I went through my mods and uninstalled a bunch but nothing worked, and I'm still looking for a way to fix this problem. If anyone knows where I could find a file that has a ptach for this or if there are setting I need to mess with that would be very helpful. Thank you. TonyTitan
Just for the heck of it, check your rig for dust build up. It's possible that you're getting to hot. If you see that you have build ups of dirt/dust; either use a vacuum or can of compressed air to clean. If you use a vacuum, try to avoid sticking any metal parts from it down into the workings of your pc. (If you have a desktop)
Georgiegril
Adding to TonyT, to me it sounds like you may have a background service or process kicking in...maybe if you think about something you might have changed on your computer, like a new anti-virus or some other program? I have had similar issues with my main computer continuing to make contact with a backup drive I'd turned off...but there are a lot of possibilities. If the background process had higher priority than the game, it would take precedence. Alternately, if you were running out of VRAM, your game would freeze while waiting for it to clear some space. (Would happen with RAM, maybe, to, but you'd likely hear thrashing.)
Dhegonus
try ATTK and Hiaglo boost, they reduce the bottlenecking of the cpu and free up space for less stuttering to occur, i use both, never hd a stutter since.
