There is a bug in the AJAX that handles editing of forum posts, where your edits are sometimes not available to view (content refresh) until you hit your browsers reload button.

Other than that, ^5 and keep up the good work :)

Edit: The bug only occurs in the Comment tab of mods on the skyrim.nexusmods.com site (at least I can only confirm it there, I don't use the other nexusmods.com subsites). It only occurs sometimes, not always, and does not occur when on the forum part of the site as far as I can determine.

In response to post #7971290.

Just as easy to edit your post and say that you found the answer, and maybe even include the answer so that someone else who encounters the same issue can find out the answer :)

Many thanks for the latest updates. I was delighted to see the update for the Change Log. For me it does not seem to work properly...

1. Only shows the first few lines of quite a long text file that I pasted.

2. Does not allow the entry to be deleted (although it did allow me to delete the old entry)

You can see what it looks like here.

Given the nature of this update, I would like to suggest that you allow a mode that gives the option to upload a text file (as is done for the ReadMe) - this makes more sense because each time you update the Change Log, you would want to replace the text that is already there (on the grounds that you have a text file with all the changes listed).

Here is what I tried to paste...

In response to post #7972078.

Ok the idea is that you actually post different change logs for each version, rather than one big change log for all versions. Why? Because we want to be able to allow people to pin-point specific change logs between specific versions, especially in NMM where we'll want to show users exactly what has changed since the last time they downloaded the mod, which will be in a future version.

We can do that if you add individual change log entries for each version but we can't do that if you add one big change log.

[Fix] Removed the links to “Advanced search” as the advanced search options are now incorporated in to the new search page as standard

This is weird. Removing the "Advanced Search" button... it's like I have to run a basic search, in order to get to the search page, where I can then run an advanced search... I can't just go right to advanced?

Also, on little search box up top, hitting Enter will submit the search as if you hit the submit button. But on the actual Search page, hitting enter while in a text entry field does not submit the search, forcing to actually mouse-click the submit button?

That's a lot of work. Good job guys!

I had the problem where I just couldn't click on the areas in the search menu. Well, I would click on them but they wouldn't allow me to type in what I was searching for. Or I could enter like a mod author name but not the name of the mod I wanted to find. Nice to see I am not having that problem anymore.

Also the "Search all categories" option was randomly working. Also seems to be better now.

Not any big problems but still nice to see the small annoying ones get fixed too.

I do miss having a search option from the dropdown menu though. It was easier that way. But minor gripe.

Thanks a lot. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your awesome updates! The site has only become more easy to use over the time.

One thing I noticed when I added my change log versions is that the change log isn't actually click-able. I used two different versions to update it as you've intended. You can see it here.
