DarkNinja13
Tetris anyone? Now im good at saving space in cramped areas  Funny little trivia bit about Tetris .... About November of 1999, Electronic Gaming Monthly ran a poll, the question was this:"What was the Best game of the 20th century?" 100 games were mentioned and as you flipped the page to see which game was #1, there is was in all it's glory - TETRIS They described it as, "Nothing fancy graphics or sound wise, simple controls, but hands down the most addictive game ever programmed. You just keep wanting to play it over and over and over again." See? Simple is good

Vindekarr
hnr. I dont know if it's pre 2000, but total annihilation for me reigns supreme of my classics. Also: HotWheels: Micro Racers, my frst EVER video game, played aged 8, simple, but addictive enough to get me into gaming from then on. Now the main list: Out of the OLD games I've played my favorites are: R-Type. Galaga. Space Invaders. Tetris(nothing comes close to this for addiction potential, it's a freakin drug)
KDStudios
Hands down! Space Invaders! On my fathers old Atari 2600From 1980 or 1981 I think it was... before my time anyway. But I remember playing it as a child when I found it in the attic in some of my dads old stuff. Can't remember the year but it was before 2000 I know that =D But second for me was definately TETRIS1989 I think on my ORIGINAL gameboy which I aquired when I was 3 in 1995 And still have to this day! WIN! =D @VindekarrTotal Annihilation... I recall a game called Total Annihilation kingdoms, was that it?I think that came out in 1999 Ohhh just found Total Annihilation now, I remember that too! Nysba
I would have to say FF VIII. I don't really remember much more games, since I was in the age of 6 in 2000.I enjoyed Tekken 3 too, but not in my favourites.Micro Maniacs was released in April 2000 in Europe, so I won't think that would be a serious crime if I called it a "retro" game. It was awesome with friendsAlso Worms World Party was one of the games that came out in 2000 or earlier that I liked. Oh and GTA 2 was fun too, at the age of 5 o.O
