Tannin42
backup and repair worked for me.Made a backup of my %appdata%\vortex folder beforehand nevertheless.Just curious: any easy way to know which of those files was corrupted?Would like to diff my backup against whatever vortex is now using? It's possible the log file contains details about which mods were the offenders, other than that I don't think there is an easy way. The mods won't have a mod version in the mod list now, I'm not sure how they were displayed before since they were invalid.

Well, I bit the bullet and told Vortex to back up & repair, and everything seems fine.I even have Versions on my mods I think this is what happened....I had forgotten that my hard drive was showing a Yellow Alert during the S.M.A.R.T. test, and the drive would only work until it got to a certain temperature then the system couldn't find it, until I let it cool down etc.. So I got a replacement drive and just copied my D:\ drive to the New D:\ and I didn't have time to do a PURGE etc, because of the time/heat limitations, so I just copied over everything important, including Vortex, the Mod Staging Folder etc However, after reading that copying the mod staging folder would cause my hardlinks to become actual files, but it seems to be working normally as hardlinks, because I've updated, and uninstalled etc, and when I uninstalled a mod, I checked both the game DATA folder, AND the Mod Staging folder and both version of the files for the mods were gone etc..However, I think something got changed through all of that copying etc, and that's what Vortex is seeing.
