Maharg67
EverEpic One 61.2(128)The 'Factor X Theory' came from some of the information as provided to them by the LittleFatMan in the fortune-cookies that he had given them.Samson looked around at the battle scene and noted a second dead super-ninja. “Professor Frankenstein is a super genius, if he is still alive, but also a twisted monster. He helped the TriImperiate gain much of their cloning knowledge and technologies and at first they rewarded him well but his insane search for dark knowledge became too much even for them.”Scully slipped her gun away. “Are you suggesting that he, and others like him, created these super-ninjas?”Samson smiled at her. “I am not suggesting anything quite yet but if clones were created, and released into the local population to replace various people or just as newcomers, it might explain some oddities in local history of recent decades.”FEAR-Troopers came and reported that they had killed all of the super-ninjas that they had fought. They were motionless, amazingly calm but not like the iceminds in their ways. FEAR43 had arrived just recently, being comrade unit to FEAR55.Samson thanked them and then stood there thoughtfully while the dead super-ninjas were taken away in body-bags. Scully and Jack discussed some theories together about what might be happening but came to no real conclusions.Fireflies drifted through the air like tiny living lamps.Which was when Samson remembered the Rusty Plague that took place, across the whole area, about thirty years ago. None had discovered its cause, not healers or scientists or doctors or others of much knowledge and skills. A few had died and many had survived but of those that had survived, a few claimed that other survivors were impostors. They were largely not believed and they were said to be suffering from the 'Rusty Delusions'.A sickening feeling hit him at the possible ramifications of what he had just discovered. Just how many locals were clones of some kind and what had happened to those that they had replaced? What did his discovery to do with other occurrences taking place? Maharg67
EverEpic One 62.1(129)The Eternal Soldier entered the Clanroyal Estate in special power armour and she met the Clanroyal Guardians and a large force of Clanroyal Guards. He, and his own people, were made very welcome for the two groups were far from strangers to each other. It was dusk and would soon be fuller dark of night. Stars were becoming more visible as were the three moons.Around them the massive Outer Walls, low hulking and formidable in many ways, were still being upgraded and augmented with new technologies. Much repair work had already taken place. TriOrder Guardians, and Guards, had arrived to bolster the ranks of the local defenders.FieldMarshal Sonja Savata examined the fairly distant but still massive looking Clanroyal Castle. It was low hulking and force fields flickered above it. Then she spoke with an odd tone of voice. “We will need more resources to make sure that the Clanroyal Estate is ready for Samson to occupy as the Clanking. We can expect at least one large attack to be made.”Clanroyal Elder Guardian OBroyett wore power armour done in the traditional fashion of his order. They had hidden such advanced technologies away for centuries but had assisted locals as much as they could, with such, with out giving away their secrets.Refugees had come to the great estate grounds, fleeing from demons, undead and other things that terrified them and even endangered them.It was said that the Doomlords had invaded, though only in smallish numbers, a very isolated part of the Estatelands. They had battled other kinds of demons known as daedra who served a dark entity known as MehrunesDagon. The Doomlordic Forces had won against the much bigger enemy force but with a good deal of damage done to them.Angels had fought false angels near a coastal fishing town, at the Hope Inner Sea, destroying all of their fishing boats. Then the victorious angels had replaced the vessels with much better ones and the fishing folk were pleased though they still held fear at what might happen in future.Sonja spoke again. “People are vanishing across the area of the Hopelands closer to the Foremale Estate. I conclude that Samson is sending people, animals, plants, items, to some kind of sanctuary. It is written in the Prophesies that such would probably be the case.”The Eternal Soldier was obviously pleased. “Very good! It would be best if he continued such activities from here, from the Clanroyal Castle.” Edited September 5, 2013 by Maharg67
Maharg67
EverEpic One 63.1(130)Samson opened the big, armoured wheel-door of VaultTek design and it moved back before rolling sideways into a slot. A security safety airlock chamber was revealed, a big one with equipment to one side in armoured lockers. Crudely heaped against the opposite wall were five long dead humans in exopower hazmat suits of light armour. Even as Samson stepped closer, noting holes in the suits of unusual nature as if acid had burned them open, the figures sparkle shimmered and changed.Test-transformed the four women, and one man, had gone against orders of a leadership gone seemingly insane. They had given there lives to help stop something truly evil from getting out of the great bunker-complex. They had killed themselves before they could become of the lesser undead. What had happened? One of the women, a science-officer, spoke of insane times. “Over a hundred personnel escaped from Hexagon03, the unofficial name for the hell hole, before they sealed off the outside the first time. Another hundred, or so, had vanished and there were growing stories of shambling zombies, who were the vanished ones, disturbing glimmering mist and monstrous other things worse than the zombies.”She shrugged as she stood there in her hazmat suit but with the visor open. “Most were too frightened, too brain washed, to rebel against even the increasing bizarre orders being given out. Yet there was more to it than that. It was as if something was influencing people's minds in a most brutal, but subtle, manner.”Something dark of ancient power, experience and skill! Something used to manipulating mortal minds but with out total success! Despite the GlimmerMist having appeared in the Hexagon03 that power might have not had anything directly to do with the undead. There was something else that had been in that fortress, something that concerned him greatly. There was also something inside the great underground fortress that he had to deal with.Samshado was in the fortress and with that darker reflection, of Samson himself, was Samlal of the GeniusThirteen. Samlal was weaker than Samshado but was, in her own way, just as dangerous. This was largely because Samshado had some strange weaknesses that Samlal did not.Of the five, three went to the Fatesanctuary. Two women staid to help navigate the way through Hexagon03 that was not as the official plans, layout, had stated it should be.On opening the inner armoured wheel-door they found empty, official areas with some signs of past battles having taken place. Scattered bodies lay in armoured hazmat suits or in security power armour. In a few cases there were soldiers in combat power armour. There were many long dead, turned to dust, zombies or so was picked up by those who knew of such things. There were localised semiactive network-systems still in good repair and those were made fully active. Security turrets were put into action, after reprogramming. 3Dvideo, and other records, were accessed and studied carefully. GlimmerMist had a bad habit of messing with such recordings but what was seen was enough to show it had been a time of horrors ending in many deaths and undeaths. There were also recordings of Samlal having been there; she could have erased herself from the recordings, indicating that she had not cared if she was seen or not. Perhaps she had expected Samson to see her.
Maharg67
EverEpic One 63.2(131)It had been a very long time since he had met with Samlal but he had not missed her.The expeditionary force was soon making the area into a kind of bridgehead zone. Equipment, supplies and people were brought in. Some very special equipment, and supplies, were added to the mix and preparations were made but not just for more standard attacks.“Many records have been deeply erased, whole firmware databoxes being destroyed or taken away.” Samtha had appeared, all ready for action and eager to confront Samlal whom she had a grudge against. “It took place before Samlal's recorded appearance but that does not mean she did not do it.”“You be careful against Samlal!” Samson sat at a big curving console and studied 3Dscreens showing data in various forms. “Samlal has always been more aggressive than you.”“I have learned much since the last time I met Samlal and she betrayed me.” Samtha shook her head. “Yet she claims that she was the betrayed one.”It was then that something important struck Samson and caused him to reconsider some of his deeper, more important, assumptions. That is about the GeniusThirteen. After a noticeable pause he spoke. “What if Samlal was betrayed, just as we were? What if we were all manipulated into betraying each other? I have a blank place at the very centre of my mind; do you?”Samtha looked puzzled and then shocked. “Yes, I do, and so do Sampha and Samsha.”Alarms began to sound as the first attack was launched against the expeditionary group, against the bridgehead zone that they had created. The cybermen came marching in neat ranks, each heavy armoured cyborg stomping along as it fired a heavy shooting battlerifle or, less often, a minigun or an autogun or a flamer or even a minimissile launcher. With them came fast moving cybermats, metallic like some kind of bizarre shell creatures. These also had human brains inside them and blazed away with guns, launchers and other weapons. As Samson joined the defensive fight, he spoke. “Well at least we know one thing the fools here were getting up to.”

Maharg67
demidekidasu I am very glad to have you post and wish others would do the same.I am happy to accept positive feedback including positive suggestions for changes to be made.My writings here are of 'draft level quality' and do not have the much editing done on them that other writings of mine have. I am considering, in the future, of posting in Druids Garden a much more edited story topic.I have gained a good deal from writing posts in the Nexus Forums. Maharg67
EverEpic One 64.1(132)Samson, who had vanished in TriImperiarna, became aware of his surroundings but only for a short time and not in a very sharp manner. Around him stretched a vast, distorted chamber that was apparently part temple, part advanced laboratory-workshop, part museum, part apartment and parts of much else. Everything was almost 'right' and nothing was actually in kilter with anything else.Samshado crouched, sat, in an unnatural fashion on, in, a distorted throne that seemed ever ready to spill him onto the stone floor of great big flagstones. Samshado grinned with crookedly sharp teeth and then spoke in a grating guttural fashion.“Got you! Got you Samson down on the floor where I can kick you like the slimly thing that you really are.” The figure grinned. “I take your energies, weakening many Samsons that are one being many Samsons. Samfane spoke to me of our great plan. Shadow Samson was here, or at least one of him was. There is more than one of him just like there is more than one of you. I was not to wake you but I so much wanted to make you know how trapped you are. You have no hope!”Samson sighed. “You are such a fool Samshado! There was good reason not to wake me from the sleep of entrapment. As long as I was in that state I could not cease to exist and stop your ugly alliance from draining energies from me. Now, though, I can and will do so.”Samson gave Samshado a mild grin even as he faded out of existence. Already he had shared vital information with the other Samsons, the ones that still existed in the Foremale Estate, below the Foremale Estate and in the Fatetorium. As he ceased to exist, Samshado cried out in rage and despair as the great dark fool realised that the others would mostly likely punish him for his stupidity. Maharg67
EverEpic One 65.1(133)Samkol, Samdol and Samlol were doing their best to manage the Fatesanctuary domeland as director, coordinator and supervisor networks; there was more than one of each just as there was more than one Samson. The expansion of the domeland, that was actually a great globe, was still one metre per day but the land was great, the sea had a large cluster of islands, there were the underground underlands and floating high up in the air, there were sky-islands.People had been coming through from the Hopelands, but also other places of the world, in a steady stream. Not all were humans but were other peoples. There were also many other lifeforms being brought to that place in various ways.Samson helped them as much as he could by sending what extra resources, that came with the refugees but also separately. Around the nine domecities, that had come with the Fatesanctuary, new smaller settlements were arising. So far there was plenty of room and most of the domecities had yet to be inhabited.Samkol, Samdol and Samlol had been part of the GeniusThirteen along with Samson, Sampha, Samtha, Samsha, Samlal, Samvil and Samkol. Oddly enough, neither Samsam or Sammas were part of the original GeniusThirteen but were linked to a second, shorter lived incarnation of the GeniusThirteen.More knowledge was returning but there were still gaps, still questions to be answered, such as why had there been two versions of the GeniusThirteen? At least three others were out there who had been either part of the GeniusThirteen or very closely linked with one of the two versions.Double monorail lines linked the domecities while older style railways were being constructed to link with newer, smaller, settlements. Same could be said for super highways and secondary highways. Aerocraft, aircraft and rivercraft also linked settlements. It was going well, considering all of the pressures to create a healthy supportive homeland, for many people, in quite short a time. There was the factor that time passed twice as fast in Fatesanctuary than it did back at the home world and that was of great help. That there were also a great deal of resources already in the Fatesanctuary was of even greater help.
Maharg67
EverEpic One 66.1(134)Samson knew that he, that is one of him, would need to return to TriImperiarna to carry out the mission that the abducted Samson had failed to do. Yet the growing crisis in the Hopelands meant that he had to focus on helping to solve those problems. The rise of Unity was adding to the conflicts as 'AntiUnity' forces rose to oppose them, as was natural in such matters that seemed hardly natural on the face of them. The Estatelands were quickly becoming a protected zone, including the areas between the actual Estates. Refugees came there and were settled into long abandoned Estates or into small settlements that could easily accommodate expansion. Samson was sending people, livestock, goods, etc. to the Fatesanctuary but there was a limit to how many, how much, could be sent there at any one time.Fateclones, be they men or women or others, were soon becoming most important to assist in the Fatedomain in all of its aspects though only one could be materialised every hour. They had always a special, if limited, range of enhanced abilities along with intrinsic knowledge and skills.Samson, in the Foremale Estate, stood at the semi-enclosed top of a guard-tower and watched the flashes of distant explosions in the directions of Sherlock Fields, a large area of small farming semi-estates, plantations and mines. He expected that it was due to the appearance of demons or the rise of demons or some other possible exotic threat. The rise of the undead, not always aggressive but increasingly so, the manifestation of demons and the test-transformations were increasing along with other disturbing phenomena. At least the test-transformationed were fighting for the people, as were the angelics and there were peaceful undead who were becoming an accepted part of the Estatelands. With an expression of agitation, on her face, his mother came to him and stood facing him even as she spoke. “Hopelanders have begun to transform through out the region but mostly in some focused areas. As you warned it seems to be linked to where the Rusty Plague struck and how hard it struck. They are not zombies or known kinds of demons but something else. They are coldly brutal but only kill when they can not enslave. Those considered too weak to be working slaves, they kill and eat. They say little, even to each other, but they sometimes mention something called Sezshesho being the Grand Demon who serves the AllPureOne that is also known as the Pure Holy Archangel.”The two names were blasphemous dark jokes and concerned Samson deeply but he could not quite remember something, deeply buried in his mind, that would help him know what it was. He did have a very strong sense that at last he was facing the actual core cause of all the troubles that had been taking place. This was the 'thing' that the TriImperiate had feared so much that they had instigated the TripleMadness to create fighting force of monstrous live-unlifen-dead-undead hybrids. What had they done to themselves, if anything?Salisha shook her head in wonderment. “Everything attacks the new 'monsters' be they zombies, demons, angels or otherwise. They stop fighting each other to do so. The daomons, the changed ones, fight everything back.”Samson went pale. “daomons, you speak of daomons and not demons!”
