MadSquirrel841
Another idea I have. It’s a mod for the original Oblivion, but I can’t find it anymore. It was a mod that changed the player character’s eyes into Sheogorath’s eyes after completing the Shivering Isles questline. It would be nice to see being implemented into Oblivion Remastered. tegeusCromis
It's early days, so I won't bang on about Unique Landscapes/Better Cities/Oscuro's etc etc etc. I tend to focus on functionality before appearance, especially since we don't need so many of the texture mods the old game does. So, to focus on just one thing that would make an immediate big difference to me: Enhanced Hotkeys: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34735 Though, of course, this requires OBSE. I'm not sure right now whether the OBSE we've just been issued (amazing work to get that out so fast!) is at all adequate for the job. I'm working up to how to mod/convert mods for this exciting new world, maybe I'll find out. (I'm so used to using this, playing without it feels like I have one hand tied behind my back.) HuemangeBeans
A mod that restored real-time weapons change on the d-pad would be sweet. inventory is already on start button, LB could even be 'grab' function or something. Shorter spell animations, or at least be able to block in a reasonable time after casting a spell. In og-blivion you could practically block and cast simultaneously, but the remaster takes a good 5 seconds to complete the animation. It felt like in the original, NPCs and the PC used the same animation and move sets, but in this remaster the arena NPCs can swing their weapons and block nearly at the same time, while leaping forward to stab me with every 5 second spell animation. So the moveset of the NPC's and PC does not feel the same, with the NPC's capable of much quicker actions. There's also just a metric ton of bugs in the game; telekinesis does not work at all and seems to effect NPCs instead of objects, shield spells like shock shield never lose their 'shielded' animation on the PC once cast, torches cause shields to get stuck on the PC's arm when switching to a bow, light spells not working until switching camera to 3rd person. That's just what I've seen in a couple hours. Maybe we can hope Bethesda might fix some of these in official patches? lol

UmbCorps5
Adding a few more lights to interiors would be neat. Currently playing around the Imperial City and I feel like there's many interiors that would greatly benefit from additionnal light sources like candles or wall torches because it's quite dark. The same could be said of the IC streets lacking a few lights imo, but I don't know if that's something doable for modders right now.
corruptscript1
It would be nice to have a mod that removes the deep sunken laugh lines that are apparent in nearly every character face, male or female. These lines, to a lesser extent, existed in the original oblivion too; but they weren't as drastic, presumably in part due to the softer lighting. And even then, we still had mods here on the nexus to smooth them out entirely. Edited April 25 by corruptscript1 Conciseness.

Enhanced Hotkeys is an absolute must for playing Oblivion. Among other things, it allows quick access to an amazing range of spells. However, as has been pointed out, it will require an updated OBSE (which may not be easy to build because of the game's hybrid engine). Also, I would very much like to see Supreme Magicka adapted to Oblivion Remastered.
